Out of them? Thor. I generally prefer guys who are slimmer and have more angler, for lack of better term, features and dark hair. Unfortunately any guy who looks like that is almost always the villain and that's true here as well. So yeah, Loki would be attractive if he wasn't such a petulant, narcissistic little shit.

My problem with Cap is that he's the Good Guy[sup]TM[/sup]LeathermanKick25 said:
He's a paragon, everything about him is good. This makes his verisimilitude nearly non-existent. Don't get me wrong though, I like Cap, I like the fact that he's a good person. I particularly like his line about not wanting to kill anyone, he just doesn't like bullies. That's fine, but then it's played up to the nth degree.
I like characters with flaws. Cap has precious few of them. Not only that, but he has several little quips that annoy me. His whole bit in The First Avengers when Thor arrives, "There's only one god, mam. And he doesn't wear a cape." Stuff like that gets under my skin. And again when he gets on Tony's case about going too far.
Captain America is barely character to me, he's much more of an ideal. A concept. Heck his name is tied to the concept of a nation. In Civil War I can't get behind him, not when the other side is Tony Stark.
Stark is a much more fleshed out character. He's gone through one hell of an arc. He went from playboy, snob, billionaire, to turning his company around completely and trying to do good. At the end of the Avengers it comes full circle when he stops the nuke from hitting New York. He has made mistakes, but imo he's much more compelling than Cap. Also, when you get right down to it, Cap can be pretty arrogant as well, just in a different way.
Ultimately it comes down to what you like in characters. For me, it comes across in a quote from Parthurnaax, a character from Skyrim.
"What is better - to be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?"
I don't ask what is better, but rather what makes a more interesting character? Tony didn't start out where he is now. He has flaws that he has to fight, and people always love it when characters come around and see the light. Captain America is the light, which makes him boring.
OT: I always thought the ladies, and even some guys, liked Thor and Loki. I can see people liking Cap as well.
But for me it's Black Widow.
Chris Hemsworth is one of those guys who sometimes makes me react the way Louis CK does for Ewan McGregor.

Bruce Banner. He's not conventionally attractive, but there's a fullness to his features (especially his lips and his hair) that comes off very sensual to me, and there's just something fascinating about the way he's put together. The other guys, it's like, "Yeah, they look good, but so what?"
As a straight man I can say with full confidence it's Thor. Cap is a close second in my opinion. But damn, you gotta love the bearded viking look and them muscles!

As for the ladies I gotta say that ScarJo is hella hot. But she's got nothing on Cobie Smulders. Maria Hill all the way.

Oh yeah, you wanted some kind of rationale: I think he's the best looking male Avenger because I think he's the best looking/hottest male Avenger - it's that simple. MCU Vision's weirdly sexy, though...

Even though I don't like muscles, on either men or women, I think Thor is the most attractive male Avenger. A large part of that is personality, his attitude to the world is great and demonstrated best by lines like "I like it! Another!". I'd have to go for Tony Stark in second place, again largely because of personality. I honestly don't like Captain America much at all, he's too conspicuously wholesome and All-American. Frankly, he seems boring and kind of a killjoy.
With the exception of maybe Banner, there are no bad choices... for second place. Thor is in a league above the other avengers.

I'm in love with Captain America, not only is his costume fantastic but everything about how he looks and acts just clicks with me, plus seeing Iron-Man fighting greatly annoys me as Captain America is the only character in any fucking super-hero movie that seems to share my concerns for collateral damage, like seriously everyone else just makes me want to yell at the screen, Cap's the only one that truly gets it, therefore he's the best, nothing sexier than someone who genuinely cares.
Stark is a snarky suave asshole, some girls like that. He's got his charm and handsomeness, but in terms of physical attractiveness falls behind Thor and Cap. Hawkeye is kinda plain, not bad looking, but it's kinda like putting Maria Hill next to Black Widow.
Between Thor and Cap? Well, I'd say they are equally attractive and preferences are made based on their mannerism. Cap is the clean cut boy scout, while Thor is the slightly mysterious hunk. My vote goes to Thor thanks to his manner of speech, but yeah, I can see why some people prefer Cap.
