The question is the result of a college-boy culture of ignorance and stupidity, and I will forever refuse to answer it when asked.

There is no "bro-code."

you are on a party together with your closest friends and your girlfriend. you have a GREAT time with you buddies. having a couple of drinks and making jokes. your girlfriend is kinda board of the intimate jokes and wants you and here to have a little "after-party" at here place...

what to you do???

just asking ;P
You threw in the girlfriend flag, which means that unless you're doing it wrong, she's not a ho, and your bro will(unless he's completely devoid of empathy) catch the vibe, and tell the two of you to enjoy the evening.

Not wanting to be "that gay guy" who keeps bringing it up... but what the hell.

The decision is easy when your "bros" are "hos", though I wouldn't use those terms to describe anyone I knew.

And, y'know, It's possible to be just friends with someone, even if they do have tits. Really.

I can't vote it's too gray, I mean for something like skip anniversary dinner with your girlfriend to go get drunk with the guys, sure you can choose "bros", but your "ho" will not be very happy, and neither will your penis when you spend the next couple weeks with Palmela Handerson.

Now if she wants you to go to a ballet instead of game 7 for the Anaheim Ducks against Toronto Maple Leafs in the Stanley Cup Finals, then strike her down with your hockey stick.

Problem I have with friends is that they're so obsessed with sex, we all go out and party having a great time and someone has to be a softy and goes to see his girlfriend and get laid instead of continuing our important guy night, I mean come the eff on, shes not going anywhere, get laid later, or tomorrow, is it really that big of a deal?? Us guys never go camping or hunting for the weekend, or go away on some trip, or anything really, it's all "oh my girlfriend this and that", well funny how I have a girlfriend too and I don't have to be kissing her ass and leashed to her front porch 24/7.

Someone, please tell me they feel me on this, I can't be the only guy in the world with a good girlfriend.

It depends. I've been known to forget a former girlfriend somewhere at times when distracted to an activity with buddies. But sometimes I'm as considerate as one can be.

Friends can always be blown off if there is the possibility of sex... It's the rule.

I try my best not to go out with my girlfriend and my best buddies at the same time, especially when I know drinking will be on the schedule. It's not worth it to get plowed and probably ignore her wishings for one night and then have to stand the silent treatment or whatever, for as long as possible.
Btw, I considered that by ho you meant girlfriend. You will be forgiven, just this once.

Well there's really two questions here, the explicit question and the implicit question. I say hos to the explicit and bros to the implicit. There, I'm glad I've made myself clear on this.

It is the rule, but the other rule is that bros are always bros but hos come and go. Some balance and delicate prioritisation is often needed.
