no even if magneto removed the adamantium from his body he wouldn't die, it is his cells that give him the ability to heal not the adamtium, plus it is stated that wolverine can die from old age, the older he gets the longer it takes for him to regenerate so eventually he just will not heal anymore.JaffaKira said:Marvel did a glimpse into the future for a while and the only living x-man was gambit - so i guess yeah that does mean he can die.
Also I seem to remember magneto ripping the adamantium from his body at one point, so if he did that again and then set him on fire or sommet it is possible ^^
Actually, Deadpool is my favorite comic book character. I wasn't sure on his immortality, but he isn't immortal because of Death right? That's Thanos...Dr. Odd said:Deadpool can't die... Ever. He has the same power of regeneration, but he's also immortal. So, yeah. Deadpool.megapenguinx said:I think that was Days of Future Past. Not 100% sure though. And yeah, Wolverine has died a few times. A better question is, who's harder to kill: Deadpool or Wolverine?Biek said:There was a comic where he was killed by a sentinel. All that was left of him was his skeleton. I dont know the name of the comic though.
Plus, I'll say it even though I know I'm about to get fanboy raped, Deadpool is the more dynamic and interesting character. At least in his most recent story arc.
The comic you are displaying is from "Days of Future Past", an alternate timeline created when the mutant villain Destiny assassinated Senator Kelly.Space Spoons said:There's more than a few ways to kill Wolverine.

^ Starting with that. Wolverine can heal from almost any injury, given time... But if he were blasted by a huge Sentinel beam and flayed down to just a skeleton (like he was here), he wouldn't be able to recover.
He could also be killed by removing his head from his body, though with the adamantium spine keeping it firmly in place, that'd be pretty hard to do.
Magneto, having complete control over Wolverine, could fly him up into outer space, or hold him under water until he died of suffocation.
There are other, more obvious methods, like canceling out his healing factor, but nobody really takes those into account, 'cause they're boring.![]()
I never said it kills Deadpool, but it is probs the closes you can get to actually killing himAbedeus said:Sorry, my friend. Deadpool can't be killed. Literally. Death cursed him with the power of immortality - in every way. He regenerates faster when he gets more damage - that's why Squirrel Girl defeated him, because she was scratching him - not much of a wound. But in a long battle with everyone slashing him, chopping and so on... Someone called him even "The Energizer Bunny".Cheesebob said:Decapitation.
If it can stop Deadpool, it will stop Wolverine
Oh, and he has already lost a hand, head or other parts of the body. Unless someone throws him into a meat grinder, incinerate the ashes and throw them one by one, no closer than a milimeter next to each other... He can't be killed.
About the lack of oxygen - I think he would suffer the same pain as the Immortal Man from Heroes (how was that British samurai called? I forgot) - he couldn't die, but he was constantly suffocating to death. That's worse than death.
Toys, games and movies(crappy ones but still). Got a good point there, but does that mean that if he became an unlikeable character he'd have to fend on his own?ElegantSwordsman said:He can never die as long as he has the greatest power on his side... successful marketing. As long as his toys and games keep selling, he ain't going nowhere. Sure he may temporarily "die", but they'll bring him back through some hocus-pocus or bad writing![]()
actually he would survive it due to his indestructible skeletonTrivun said:Anyone can be killed. Except Doctor Manhattan, but he's pretty much a god so that doesn't count. But yes, Wolverine can be killed. Not even his fast healing ability will save him from a sniper shot to the head...
Already done, and that just made him angrycabooze said:actually he would survive it due to his indestructible skeletonTrivun said:Anyone can be killed. Magneto could kill him by ripping his metal skeleton out of his body.
He did survive a warhead in the face, he was in 1945 hiroshima when the bomb was droppedRascarin said:Could he survive a nuclear warhead to the face? Seems doubtful to me... I mean, nuclear explosions can evaporate a person on the spot, literally leaving nothing but their shadow behind. How could he possibly regenerate if EVERYTHING of him is obliterated in a matter of seconds?
I get this, but I think part of the appeal of Wolverine is that he can take anything and kick enormous amonts of ass.Hardcore_gamer said:To be honest i find the idea of a super hero is can't be killed stupid. Where is the fun if you know your hero is always save?
It gets him as closed to killing as pulling his arms behind his back and tying up.Cheesebob said:I never said it kills Deadpool, but it is probs the closes you can get to actually killing himAbedeus said:Sorry, my friend.
