Less sensitivity means slower orgasm. And since sensitivity is lowered by circumcision, you blow your load slower. So it's kinda just rephrasing one his cons, the fact that your penis loses sensitivity.

You do realize that varies from person to person right?

Sure, but generally, less stimulation will make for a slower orgasm. And generally, circumcision has been found to lower sensitivity. So yeah, there are exceptions, but that doesn't make it any less true.

That's not necessarily a good thing - some people already have trouble achieving orgasm and circumcision would make that even harder. Now, granted, men have much higher chance of achieving orgasm as a population, but still.

Now, that said, I have no objection to an adult choosing to have a circumcision, especially if he has no other way to 'go the distance', but forcing circumcision on a child who's not even remotely close to being sexually active yet is just robbing them of their ability to decide for themselves.

My circumcision was too aggressive, they took too much skin away from me. As a young boy, erections were PAINFUL. My skin was having trouble growing with me.

Mostly, as I grew, more and more scrotal skin ended up being pulled onto my shaft. So instead of having a nice smooth uncut penis, I had a ballsack that, at one point, connected half way up my shaft- and hair. Also, downward curve from being pulled so taught is not optimum.

I have been trying to correct this by manually stretching the skin myself, not the whole thing- just the skin. Skin grows if it's stretched often enough. The new skin is much lighter in color and so far I've managed to create an extra inch patch on the dorsal side.

Anyway, I wish I had a choice. Or at least wait until I'm fully grown for fucks sake. I would have had a porn star member.

You can do what you wish with your body at your own risk, but you cannot do what you wish with the bodies of others at their risk.

Your God might say that you should, but Gods are easy to invent or recycle, so if we make laws on that basis then I may as well make a God who says that all parents who circumsize must be skinned alive and set on fire, and then us opponents would have a free card to do so.

I was circumcised at an early age but not as a baby. I'm not Jewish but apparently the foreskin was going to be too tight so I had to get it circumcised much like my father and grandfather who had the same problems.

I think reasons such as cases like my own and religion make it okay to get snipped but otherwise you might as well leave it there till the boy is 16 or something like that then they can decide for themselves

As long as my reasons for doing so are in the interests of my own children's welfare I don't see what business it is of anyone else's.

That's the thing, it is not for your children welfare, it is for your own peace of mind.
When they grow up it will be their biseness, not yours, and it is very unlikely they will develop something that will make them regret not being circumcised before. Also because it is proven that it will lessen their sexual pleasure.

I guess it sucks then that until the they reach such an age the child's business IS their parents which is 18-21 depending on where you live. Therefore, whether I circumcise my children or not will be my business. And my reasons have nothing do with sexual pleasure as I believe that is just a ridiculous excuse in some cases and they do have everything to do with the welfare of said child regardless of whether you believe my reasons to be for my own piece of mind.

I'm sure whatever I say has been said, but in today's world, hygiene isn't an issue in this area. I'm not circumcised and it's not hard to clean at all...if it is easier it can't be more than marginal, not warranting a significant "pros" spot.

The sex argument about feeling less is to my knowledge true, which does suck, but lasting longer depends on a lot of things. One could train themselves to last longer without removing the foreskin. Besides, I'm sure a guy would rather it felt better but lasted shorter.

I think it's wrong to do it to a child when they have no say, but if a responsible adult wants to make that decision then why not. His body.

Hell, I would go so far as to posit that a lot of guys who were circumcised and ***** do it because they overestimate the loss in pleasure.

No baby mutilation. Not all circumcisions are performed to the same standard; and I'm not just talking about execution- there are actually different basic types that are more or less aggressive in their removal of extra skin.

I had an aggressive complete removal of all of it and they were a litle too aggressive or I grew too big...

As I child, I remember crying to my father about why pee pee hurt so bad when it got hard. He told me it was just muscle cramps and to stop being a baby.

i dont really get why people say uncircumcised is weird looking etc.... if erect they are pretty much the same, its not like you have a huge flap of skin hanging around.

I was circumcised, I hate it and wish I hadn't been. Oh, but guess what? I can't change it because my parents didn't think I'd need part of my body.

Actually, there is a non-surgical method for foreskin restoration. It sounds like a long and arduous process, but I've read that it works, and those that undergo it do appreciate the results. Maybe something to look into...

I have looked into it, but you can't replace the nerves that were severed. Maybe with stem cells in ten years or so, but currently it's just stretching skin to promote regrowth. Thanks, though. I appreciate it.

it does help regain some pleasure though, because the skin on the glans thickens without the foreskin in order to protect it and having your foreskin restored will reverse that process a bit and help out some, probally not as much as restoring the nerves but it seems from reading some stories it helps quite a bit

Circumcision is an outdated medical practice from a time when people did not know any better. This practice was then incorporated into religious ceremony where the faithful believe God wishes for this offending piece of your body to be cut of and disposed of.

If people wish to hack it of, It should be there choice to make. It will of course hurt a lot more when he is an adult, but why not suffer a little for your faith? Surely a little pain and sacrifice is worth a few God points to the man upstairs? A wise investment for thy divine future.

This was a really tough decision when my son was born last July, but we decided to go ahead and do it. The choice was neutral medically speaking, and religion did not have any effect on the decision. It came down to fitting in. Given that most Americans (of which I am one) have this done, it would a surprise if it wasn't done.

That said, if someone came up to me and said that they didn't have this done on their son, I would respect their choice just as much as if they had it done.

In terms of waiting until you are an adult. I'm glad I got snipped when I was an infant, because the pain and agony of that would be something I don't want lodged in my memory. Where as an infant will not genuinely remember that.

It's not so much for religious reasons, indeed the New Testament repeatedly says that it's unnecessary (there was some debate in the 1st century church as to how much of the Jewish traditions that non-Jewish converts should observe). Although some did believe, quite wrongly, that it prevents masturbation.

Around the beginning of the 20th century, there was some belief that there were medical benefits and it prevents disease. Most of their reasoning was wrong, we were still in the early stages of learning about microorganisms and infection.

All that said, there are legitimate medical reasons to have it done. Mine was medical and given what that was like, I would err on the side of circumcising.
