Colour of course. But I don't think anyone would expect any different from a username like "Lord Mountbatten Reborn". It reminds me of Medal of Honor; I used to think that this was a completely different meaning to "Honour" because the "U" was missing, or that it was named that to give the medal more distinction.

Color, unless you want to be an elitist who uses archaic spelling and drinks tea out of tiny cups with their pinky finger sticking out.

I mean, come on! The 'u' in 'colour' is silent anyway. If 'colour' was pronounced 'col-ur' instead of 'col-or' then you might have a point. Either that or this debate would be whether or not the spelling should be 'colour' or 'colur'.

Hell, even Firefox's spell-checker disagrees with you; every instance of 'colour' I have in the reply editor is marked as a spelling error. I guess that's because I got the American English version instead of the British or Australian English version, but still.
Problem:
It IS pronounced "Col-ur". So your statement is voidish.

In Canada we include the u's much to the chagrin of Americans and their spell check. Like colour and neighbour.

As an USA-ian i always spelled it "color" until i started playing 40K, and then i adopted a lot of english english spellings for things, "colour" and "armour" the ones i can think of off the top of my head

Being Australian, I spell it 'colour.' Stupid Google Chrome and its red squiggly lines, I did not spell it incorrectly.

Not sure why you feel the need to jam a 'u' in there when it seems unnecessary. It's your call though but I'll just stick with "color".

They are both correct and they could both be used no matter where you are. I personally find myself switching off between the two from time to time.

Americans had to make some cutbacks during the economic crisis. Namely cutting back on Us and replacing certain Ss with much cheaper Zs.

I'm English, so colour.

As a few others have said, it was an American attempt at simplifying the English language *resists temptation to have a cheap dig at the Americans* :p

I don't think it's a huge deal though, if I ever moved to America I'd spell it color because I'd look silly if I didn't. You adapt to the culture around you.

I'm surprised by the results of the poll, both by the amount of people who spell it colour, and the amount of people who spell it 'Charizard' :p

A little FYI, Chrome is picking up the American spelling of colour as wrong, I guess it depends which dictionary your browser is using.

It's not a subjective question. Some countries spell it one way, others spell it...well, the other way. People are going to vote based on where they're from, nothing else. It's not a question of opinion or preference.
