I have heard people do it in conversation, while I was in the shower after swimming. All swimming shorts were still on I assure you!

But yeah these two guys were talking about measuring their length, and stuff in public. Sure loads of people make Facebook pages, jokingly, about stuff like accidentally stepping on their genitals or getting it stuck in the drain in the bath, or a rather amusing game involving glow in the dark condoms (I'll let you guess that one), but I've never really done it.

I was always told this would happen yeah, but there never was any showers in any of our schools, we just carried on with our day.

I guess it's one of those oddities that not a lot of people would actually do. I actually know one quite similar, and that was comparing the amount of pornography a person kept on their iPod or mobile phone. Or maybe that was limited to my school only. Either way, really stupid.

I think most people have one of those things.

For example, in my school, particularly amongst my friends, there was a running 'contest' of sorts over who could masturbate (with orgasm) the most times in one day. It was thoroughly stupid but fuck it, we loved pointless competitions. So far as I remember, the record was, allegedly, 11 times.

It's happened around me, but not at school.

To be honest, when we were younger 11/12 the age when this sort of thing was supposed to be happening everyone was too embaressed to do such a thing. Now at 16/17/18 it does happen at times when I end up in communal showers with other my age. I don't engage in it, but you do get some people commenting on other peoples, activley comparing and asking opinions and whatnot. Normally happens early in the morning or late at night when I honestly can't be bothered so I just get on with my shower with the oblitagory 'the showers are colder than I'm used to.'

Nope, we had showers in our school but we never used them. We always had P.E before lunch so even if we coulda used them nobody would, cos everyone wanted to be first in the lunch queue before the hotdogs or whatever ran out (irony)

i had schooling in the UK and in america. i heard about this but i have never seen it happen.
i always thought it had to do with more of showering in your corner and slightly glancing over than the circle staring and comparing sizes though

Maybe It's a mistranslation. I was told that what we call "Gym" - where we exercise, play basket or do some running or pushups or something - was called P.E. - short for physical education - in English-speaking countries.

And yes, after sweating for an hour or two, we take a shower before we go on with our day at school.
I thought that was pretty common practice. I certainly wouldn't want to walk around school soaked in sweat for the rest of the day.

I'm english, no showers at my school. You do PE/gym then you put your uniform back on.

I was fortunate enough to go to middle and high school in an area that didn't enforce the 'shower after P.E.' thing. That being said I've never heard about the penis comparing thing and have never done it personally. Just seems kind of weird to me.
