As far as I know we don't have showers after P.E here, not sure if it's something that happens in the states though.

Kids in my high school sometimes use the showers, but I never heard of anyone comparing.
I made a vow to never go back to the showers ever after I heard some shouting coming from back there. Saying... interesting things, to say the least.

I've never experienced it or met anyone who claimed to have experienced it. And between 7-16 we had P.E once or twice per week with showers afterwards. Maybe they do in some places but showering with 10-15 other guys is uncomfortable enough without comparing junk.
Oh and at the public gym i regularily visit there seems to be an unspoken rule that you keep eyes fixed at a 90 degrees angle. It is a good rule, even though you will (unfortunately in some cases) inavertedly catch glimpses.
