You see pikachu eating Ash's body like some sick canable.
It would cease to be horror for me at that point, as I would be laughing myself to tears...greatest mental image ever, though.

Yes. Add a bit of blood and...

Other contradictions of existence:
Lonely Facebook Profiles
Heat Fans
Sesame Street Guest: Edgar Allen Poe
Good Canadian Television (I live in Canada, so don't flame me)
Resident Evil: The Comedy
Wait, never mind...
Poe...wow. I can't imagine how parents would react if their little babies were read The Masque of the Red Death. Although the children would not understand it, the parents would probably be outraged.
BTW, thanks for more contradictions of existence.
I don't see why so many people are making fun of Resident Evil. Shooting zombies is all I care about playing it for.

I can just picture a Scyther on a death rampage that would put Jason to shame.
That was my first thought too, well, that and Snorlax eating people...

Edit: Oh and to answer the other question, I want to see silent hill the comedy...

The nature of Pokemon is a kid's show and a fun, harmless (albeit a little disturbing if you think of the animal cruelty implications of that society) little game. I don't think it would translate well into the horror genre in the same way that I don't see Call of Cthulu making a great Saturday morning anime cartoon.

they could pull it off, but it would either be
a) hilariously funny
b) be really disturbing but not scary
or c) be just like Luigi's Mansion :)

I just want to see Nurse Joy with a cleaver, that would just sell the game for me.

But the irony of turning this kids show that a great deal of us played as children into a horror is staggeringly hilarious.

This right here is probably what it would look like :p
Actually this would be pretty epic. I'd play/watch it.

Of course they could.

He's back!

The pokemon behind the mask!

And he is out of control.

He's back!

That would be epic...

Ghost-type pokemon, an appropriate level design, decently engineered sound effects. I bet some programmer chap could pull it off.
Yeah, that'd work alright.

You can have something like F.E.A.R. with psychic pokemon messing with your head, and stuff with ghost pokemon coming through the walls and stuff.

Oh wow, monster Pichus. How ironic and nostalgic....
In China, Pokemon are called Pocket Monsters, so a monster monster is quite ironic.

Now, if it were ZOMBIE Pokemon, that would be way more epic.
Imagine, a herd of Scyther going on a vicious rampage, turning all victims of their blades into a new type of Pokemon, one that is hungry. Very hungry. For flesh.

The shear concept is really horrible already so, yeah. I mean, they have organizations going around stealing pokemon and making them work. So, play it out from a poke-perspective then probably. Like, growing up with your parents then being beat up, locked in an dimensional sphere and made to fight until being traded away to a different region and never being allowed to see your parents again... well that's more sad then horror...

Is that corpse supposed to be Fred Flintstone?
Anyway, I think that was supposed to be more for humor, since it is at a convention.

Quite. But still, if I could get my hands on some animation software that is industrial strength, I might be able to make a little horror short.

Yeah the game was all cheery until that point, then BOOM ghosts and dead pokemon scaring the hell out of me.

Anyways I would definitely play a Horror Pokemon game. Probably would be more funny, than scary though.
