Poll: Did you like Buffy?

I grew up with Buffy, and I still love it. Though I do feel somewhat nerdy for being about to sing the entire Buffy musical by heart, that was my favorite ep.

I mean, I liked the show well enough, it was entertaining sometimes. The movie was watchable, but nothing special...

So... I like the whole franchise... but not enough to actually sit down and watch all of it in order, or follow the spinoffs and whatnot.

One of those shows that in retrospect I'm glad I didn't watch....then again I stopped watching alot of Tv when the 2000s rolled in..

I liked the series at first, but the first season is just so bad now. I like seasons 2-5, but season 6 is kind of shit except for Tabula Rasa and Once More With Feeling. Season 7 was a good way to finish it.

I saw the movie when it first came out (and every teenaged boy I knew had a Buffy poster over his bed) and it was amusing for it's time, but the series was better.

Egh. Mostly, it was an agreeable way to waste half an hour. Some of the story arcs were cool, others were tedious. Same story with the characters.

Not the show, but the series, yes. These days it may seem far outdated, but back then I always watched it, and was impressed with the little tricks they used. One of the first pieces of media that I experienced with vampires too.

Never saw the movie, saw the show once or twice. From what I saw, I thought it was alright. Was pretty lost though, since I was only a little kid.

Obviously you were tainted by your misconception, it must be torn from your body like the foul heart of a demon. Hell my grandparents watched Buffy while it was playing. It still has a lot of charm and dark humour, although some of the '90s style is fairly atrocious.

Well worth a look if you have the time.

My at-the-moment-favourite author Jim Butcher names it as one of his inspirations for The Dresden Files. I really doubt I would hate it if I watched it now. But there's so much else to watch, so much else to experience that I doubt I ever will. It will be like LARPing... Something that sounds awesome, yet I will never live it.

Yeah a lot of the Dresden Files reminds me a bit of Buffy. Dresden is better honestly but the Buffy was still pretty good. Life is short, do whatever you think is best, as long as you enjoy the ride its not wasted.

Loved it, a friend told me about it and the very first episode I ever watched was one of the greatest in sci-fi TV. Hush is still my favorite episode, one day I will buy all of them.

Seriously, that shit gave me nightmares.
Damn episode still gets me.*shivers*

You didn't miss anything. After season 4, Buffy gets pretty damn bizarre. And bad.

I only have faint memories of Buffy since I have forgotten most of the plot already.
I've actually considered rewatching it sometime.

I loved the show! When Angel was evil for awhile he was my favorite villain of all freaking time. That show made me want to become a vampire so freaking bad back in middle school.

I used to enjoy the series it when it first started, but when it started turning into her many love problems i gave up. Now i can't even watch any of it lol kinda painful to watch now.

I watched a few episodes of the earlier seasons. I don't particularly like or dislike it, since I don't think I've watched enough of it to make that decision, but compared to some of the other Joss Whedon shows, it's one I've never wanted to continue watching.

Didn't really care for Buffy don't actually know why it just didn't click for me.But I absolutely love Angel.
