I liked the first few series. The finale of series 2 still gets me choked up, nice use of Sara McGlaughlan. It just started to get tedious when Buffy went to college/ended up as some student counsellor?
Buffy also lost alot of her attractiveness after the high school era. Spike was better as a Villain, one of my favourite moments was him driving off singing Sid Vicious - My Way.
It seems to me all shows seem to lose steam at some point though. I loved Supernatural for the first 4 seasons, I got though series 5 but found the story arc tedious and I haven't even seen any of Season 6 yet :s
