Nope. Never wore a tie before. Not at my grade school graduation, and I don't plan on wearing one at my high school graduation. If I even have one...

I've known how to tie a tie since it became mandatory when I started traveling to other schools for sports, which has been since I was 13ish.

I'm beginning to think I had the only secondary school that had a tie but never enforced it. In fact, polo shirts were introduced simply to cover up that no-one wore the suffocating little sods.

That said, a part of me actually wishes they hadn't now as I just can't get the hang of doing the damn things! These days I have to have an emrergency, pre-tied tie in my desk at work for those special moments when some form of director walks around and it's actually needed.

God I hate ties.

Hi, Im 14, and I know how to tie a tie!
I needed to wear a tie for an event about a month ago, so i had my stepdad tie it.
Then I untied it to see how its done, and now I know how to tie a tie.

It's quite simple...

Very poorly - and considering I used to work at Moss Bros hiring out suits it was a bit of an issue. I just loop it round 3 times and then tuck.

My dad taught me how to tie one before I went to secondary school as it's something "You need to know"...so I ended up having to help my friends tie theirs after PE.

Heyyy, fellow Norwegian. Gratulerer med dagen, hipp hurra and all that jazz. No, I have no idea how to tie a tie. I even failed it playing Heavy Rain.

Yes I can tie a tie. To those who say they can't I'd suggest learning. It took me about 10 minutes to learn, and is a useful skill for both men and women.
