I am sick of the "realism" (especially the "gritty" kind) most games seem to be going for in their art style. Everything has to look "cinematic" and all it does is show just how wide the uncanny valley is and how far we are from bridging it.
There are other art styles out there and I wish more games would explore them. I still love Valkyria Chronicles for its unique art approach: it's obviously manga-style art, but without most of that medium's excesses like crazy hair colours, ridiculous body proportions, or silly visual gags, then the whole thing is run through the CANVAS engine so the cutscenes look like a watercolour painting in motion. The green hills and forests and yellow deserts are also a nice change of pace from the usual browns and greys. But I would like to see more games that move away from both the gritty photorealism and the manga style.
Now, I can't provide fluffy bunny guns, but I have the next best thing. Fluffy bunnies with guns: Cat Shit One [http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8rg7e_cat-shit-one-trailer-idol-anime_shortfilms]. (Trust me, it's more awesome than it sounds.)
