I drink... maybe once a month, maybe once every two months. And I've never been drunk ever. I just happen to like how some alcoholic beverages taste, like Kahlua and Smirnoff Ice.
Oh yea, im gonna need a big helping of Internet High-five, right here, right now.TriggerHappyAngel said:No, i'm 18 years old, but i just don't have a reason to do it.

Ah sorry only read the top part. Thats your partner though, I mean you have to extend it to him/her because you have to overlook that they drink. Cant you apply to everyone else that drinks?Zeithri said:*looks at the thread*EcksTeaSea said:Well then you just got stuck in a place where there are no others like you. Don't know if you have tried finding any or whatever, but just because you see yourself as an individual in your area does not make it that you are the only one in the world. As for your point in post #182 it seems you are putting yourself in those settings where this is gonna be alcohol and that just kinda relates back to what I first said. If you can't find anyone else that doesn't like alcohol where you are (which I highly doubt) then I am sincerely sorry for you, but you are not the only one so don't act like it.Zeithri said:Yeah, if I could find such people where I live you'd be correct.EcksTeaSea said:Aren't you doing the same exact thing then? I can go anywhere and find a person who says they wont drink because they don't want to follow what everyone else does. You are still part of a group mentality, just seems you haven't realized. You are acting like you are the only person on Earth saying they wont drink.Zeithri said:No, I am not a very social person.EcksTeaSea said:Individual for not drinking eh? Dead wrong on that one. So you shun everyone who doesn't drink and look down upon them because they do? Not a very social person are you? If you have had problems in the past with alcohol that doesn't mean its bad for everyone. I imagine a day in your life goes like thisZeithri said:You can take your group mentallity and stay far away from me as possible while I'll take my inviduallity and go the other way.
Friend: "Man alcohol is not that bad at all."
You: "Alcohol good? *Spit on friend* You are a fucking moron who has no intelligence whatsoever, get the hell away from me."
You have issues dude.
There is nothing I love more than to see people claim themselves to be alternative only to do the exact same damn thing as everyone else.
I point you to the reply I made at #182.
Yeaah, forgive me but I think you're wrong with that claim.
But if you had my reply, you should also had noticed the part;
"I will only say this;
I will never change my mind about this.
If my partner drinks, I won't like it but I won't stop him/her."
Actually red wine and cognac has been proven to reduce the risk of heart and vascular problems, so it's not really a big health risk unless you're an alcoholic. The whole liver failure thing is mainly something those who are against drinking will tell you.FreelanceButler said:No. Every alcoholic beverage I've tried is yucky.
People keep telling me to try X because it tastes just like Y, but if it tastes just like Y I might as well go drink Y and keep my liver.
Well you are going to get that a lot. You don't want to drink so people want you to try it, just gotta be calm and not attack them for drinking. Ignoring will just make it worse. In the end all it just alienates everyone around you.Zeithri said:I ignore them and all talk about alcohol,EcksTeaSea said:Ah sorry only read the top part. Until they''d utter a pharse "You cannot say you don't like it until you've tried it"...
Because that just releases the fucking rage of me <_<
Well if you are all right with missing out on a bunch then thats all on you, just saying don't think you are the only one that doesn't like something and then take a tone like that. It really seemed like you really believed that. Always someone else like you and take comfort in that. If someone offers a drink, don't offend just get the away from that person if they keep persisting. Aggression just leads to anger like you have seen against you in this thread.Zeithri said:Honestly, I like being aliennated.EcksTeaSea said:Well you are going to get that a lot. I've been that for so long that it's just a part of me.
I take comfort in being alone. I have friends but I don't have to meet them everyday.
It makes me happy being alone just as it makes them happy to be with others.
You are though. Its just saddening to see another person to shut themselves out because they don't agree with something. Yeah you have friends, but in the end you are alone. Wheres the point in that? Think about it man. No more replies from me.Zeithri said:Most people don't accept you saying No until you get aggressive.EcksTeaSea said:Well if you are all right with missing out on a bunch then thats all on you, just saying don't think you are the only one that doesn't like something and then take a tone like that. And stop trying to teach me a lesson because I am not missing out on "a bunch".
If you drink to get drunk and can't handle your liqour, then you should steer clear from alcohol, but if you can drink responsibly there's no reason not to.Korten12 said:Well do you? For me I am underage but I have never thought of the idea of drinking a pleasent one. So I sort of made a early vow to never drink any Alcohol and just stick to Soda. I just like to keep sober as being drunk doesn't seem to be good physicaly or mentally.
