Yes, but responsibly. A bottle of beer or glass of wine with dinner is tasty and relaxing.
The closest I've ever been to drunk was when I had a bottle of wine starting to sour from being open to long and decided to drink about half of it (was interesting feeling, but definitely the time to stop).
Edit: To the non drinkers out there. Drinking really does not have to mean getting drunk. I realize alot of the people on these forums are underage, and since it's illegal most kids use it as a drug. Certainly there are plenty of adults who get drunk on a regular basis, but most learn to be responsible about it, and actually drink because they like the taste.
There's also been a ton of research into the health effects of alcohol, and in low doses (re: glass of wine /w dinner, no more in a day) many liquours are extremely healthy and beneficial. Red wine reduces the risk of heart disease and antioxidants that are plentiful in beer have been linked to reducing alzheimers. The bottom line is ONCE YOUR LEGAL, do not be afraid to try alcohol, you never know if your going to like it until you try it. Saying you will never ever drink is foolish (your life is probably a long time after all).
