Poll: Do you generally think short hair is unattractive on most women?

For me it depends on the woman in question, for some short hair suits better, for others long hair does. I do prefer straight hair over curly any day though.

Because of that, my boyfriend is glad that I have a short pixie haircut now. It's really annoying waking up and the first thing you realize is having a bit of hair in your mouth. And no, I don't want to make a braid everyday.

In general, I think it depends on what matches the face better. For example, my pixie haircut makes me look slimmer than anything longer that I had before. It can even change people's perceptions of someone. I'm told that I look more confident now, since I'm not "hiding" behind my hair anymore. On the other hand, where I come from, many people are old fashinoned and take it the wrong way. It goes so far that an old lady my mother knows asked her if I'm a lesbian because I have short, red hair. Even some dudes in my school asked the same, but there were just teasing me, I guess. Either way, it's weird. Women can have any haircut they want, it has nothing to do with their sexuality, and it's not like short hair is anything new.

Boy cuts generally don't look good on women- probably because you more associate such hairstyles with males. Hairstyles like pixie cuts can work though if the hairstyle looks feminine enough, but as a whole i prefer longer hair.

Pretty girls are pretty with long hair or short hair. I like long hair more, and when its down passed the waist i really find it attractive. But, an ugly girl with hair that long would still be ugly.

I'm with you. Good looking girls can wear pretty much anything and still be attractive.
Personally I like long hair because it looks good and it gives a terrible urge to run my fingers through it. (I'm referring to my gf's hair by the way, going round touching random girls hair would be creepy)

In fact, short hair is the single biggest turn-off for me.

Women are free to wear their hair as they please, though. I just don't like it personally.

I think girls with smaller frames can pull off short hair in an amazing way. Bobs or pixies look great on skinny girls. But bigger gals like myself should stick to hair that is proportional to our frames. Bigger girls with smaller hair look very...awkward to me.

I dont have a particular preference on this regard but i do know some women who look utterly beautiful with short/shorter hair and some women who really dont

I think that long hair is pretty boring on women since most women have long hair.

I mean, who needs the same old thing? Different is interesting.
Also, saying thinks like "only certain women can pull off short hair" to me is like saying that only certain men can pull of short hair.

Boys with long hair are hot.

Sometime during my childhood the norm got switched around in my brain..

It's called boredom.

A hairstyle looks pretty boring on a gender when most people of that gender already have it.
Something that sets a man or woman apart from other men and women makes them much more attractive in my opinion.

It's not about white women with short hair.
I'm not saying that none of them can pull it off, but those that can look better with long hair.
