Actually the ballots were lost on one of the elections and he was still accepted.

I am American (is it slightly odd that just about only people in the US call themselves American yet there are several other countries that live in the Americas) and I can say without a doubt that I hate 70% of my countrymen. Most of them are bigoted morons that lack the intelligence to question anything. 40% of my high school did not know how to read. 70% of those that can only read about 4 books a year. The staggering lack of respect they show their fellow men is appalling. I was grilling in my back yard today and some fully grown adults (who happened to be of color but this is only slightly relevant [I am Caucasian]} walked down the path to the park that my house is near and started shouting "Hey boy what are you cooking?" in a 'Let's fuck with whitey' tone of voice. When I ignored them, as I tend to ignore all morons that decide to be rude instead of creating discussion in polite or at least decent manner, they decided to ask a couple more times and then walk away making jokes about how funny they are. Then they proceeded to say "Man fuck that white boy." Seriously WHAT THE FUCK?

I don't hate Americans in general, that's stupid. They are good people and bad/dumb people in any group. However there are several Americans (such as politicians) who have done things that I hate, and there are certain things that Americans generally do that wind me up.

I hate america as a country, but i can not say i hate american individuals because i have not met enough of them.
i just hate america for doing things such as:

*Remaking Classic films which never needed redoing - such, the italian job, flight of the phoniex ect.

* Using the World Bank to influence other countries

* Going into things such as the irac war with out thinking it through or waiting for the UN helps, then ***** that the UN does not help them

*The fact that they can get away with such bullshit because they are America

* Having a government which is 90% controlled by Industries and organisation such transport and guns. ( i know that most governments are influence but the private sector but not as much as the US)

P.S please forgive me for anyspelling or grammar mistakes

I only hate the ones that are ignorant, racist or a mixture of the 2. Its the same rule for any person from any country in the world, if you fit into that area then you are on my hate list... not that I know your names, or have an actual hate list... except the one that says "Rob Schneider, Paris Hilton and Link" but as you may have noticed they are all fictional characters, so thats fine. =D

Americans have definately presented themselves as being the 'evil' nation of the world for many of the above reasons stated. I live in a very international country and have been around many nationalities and races. And, surprise surprise, all the americans here are extremely rude, OPENLY bashing the other nationalities. At a restuarant, a family of americans were forced to leave because of their rude behaviour, and at an external class lesson american students were forced out because of their racist and rude behaviour.

Honestly I could write and essay on why americans are vile people, but instead I will just type in a way in which even their inferior minds can understand:

F*ck off america, you're annoying, go rot.
Sad face... :(

As a citizen of the ol' USA; I hate SOME people here. Not because they're from here; but because some think being from here gives them license to dictate how every1 lives their lives. (this applies to republicans AND democrats;; republicans want to prevent you from getting ahead unless you are already at the top and democrats want to wrap you in a straight jacket and prevent you from doing anything)

I'm not a fan of "America as a general phenomenom" but saying you dislike everybody in an entire country is (like probably already has been pointed out) just plain stupid. Even if you judge very swiftly, you can't know everybody in an entire country.

I don't like my own people. At least not the majority of dumbasses who live here and just follow the media's view on everything.

say, I put 10 people in the same room then there's the high possibility of at least one of them being an asshole. this goes for pretty much the whole world. So I don't hate Americans, but the problem is that asshole americans(or any other assholes in the world) get more attention in the news, politics etc.etc. this results in the other assholes to support them and form a crowd and then other nations and groups will assume that the whole country(in this case America)are a bunch of dickheads

Is that our fault or is it their fault for behaving so horrible to everyone? I can't believe you try to place the blame on non-americans for hating them...
You're just proving my point. Yes, you can blame ignorant non-Americans for 'hating Americans'. If you say that you 'hate Americans' you're claiming you hate ALL Americans whereas the chance that you know more than even 0,0001% of the entire American population is virtually non-existant. "Hating Americans" is a generalization just as stupid as any of them.

I enjoyed how this thread started with American's explaining they were American and then saying that was the reason they don't hate American's.

Well done!
