I don't mind children. As long as they are snot nosed brats with squeaky voices in my CoD game-lobby-thing.

I strongly dislike them. Probably sounds just a tad hypocritical coming from a 16-year-old, but meh.

Only sometimes. They can be real asswads, but they can also be nice and adorable. It depends on the child and the moods the child and I are in. If the child is in a bad mood, they'll show it and it will be annoying, and if I'm in a bad mood they're probably going to annoy me no matter what they do.
But as a whole, I do not hate them at all.

I don't hate kids, I hate parents that don't know how to properly raise kids.

Edit: I'm not fond of newborns, they all look like aliens to me, but that will probably change when I have my own little alien.

I don't really like children. They're annoying.
Ironic considering your avatar.
I know, but the show is awesome. XD
The show is full of bi-winning and tiger blood and apart from that i hate the 14-16 teenagers because they are at that age where they think full of themselves to mock everyone they see as different and not to mention they try to become adults way too early in their life.

"Hate" seems to be a incredibly little-understood word on this site, and a very juvenile concept in expression being little more than a synonym for "...am annoyed by".

No, I do not "hate" children. I find noisy, smelly, drooly little fatbags annoying, yes, and certainly NOT "sacred", "our future" or my obligation to help raise, but I do not "hate" something which is inherently an empty purse.

Why didn't you include a No option in that poll?

NO I don't hate children, I love them. However, when someone says that they don't like children, I completely understand. I can see exactly why someone would dislike children of any age. I don't mind though cause I just want to run around and play with them. At this point in my life though I want to be able to give them back to someone else when I'm done playing with them. I don't want any for myself yet.

I've spent a good bit of time around kids, and I say this as a guy who doesn't even want children of his own. This past summer, I worked for a organization that offers mentoring (kind of like a "Big Brother" type deal) to kids who were referred to us by the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Before that, I spent about three years during college volunteering with a team who went into a low-income community and (with consent from parents) just played with the kids and did some lessons. The kids were anywhere from 5 to 16 and many of them I'll admit were mischievous or downright cruel to other kids. But they're still just kids, and lots of them had some terrible parents (if they even had parents).

Even at their worst, I cannot hate a kid. They don't think like us, they don't know everything we know. Even more, we don't know what's going on in their lives. If you really need to place your dissatisfaction anywhere, place it on parents. I've seen way too much neglect, abuse, and spoiling from parents to ever focus my disdain on a kid.

It's not that I hate children, it's just that:

I hate stupid parents!

What do I mean by that? Well there are some parents out there that think just because they have children, that they have the right to break whatever rule they want. For example: I worked next to the Universal Amphitheater at one point in my life, and one of the events held there was a Barney musical. I still can't believe how these parents would jump the ropes and spit on a person, just to get their kid into a the show a fraction of a second faster.
