I can't really vote because there's no option for what I do, but I only invert depending on the individual game. I always invert on flight sims though.
Well frankly, there is a pretty obvious correlation: The older one is, the more likely it is they will prefer inverted. Look at the ratio increase between each age group.Twilight_guy said:Looks like there is no significant statistical correlation. Better luck next experiment.
The plural form is axes. Yes, you use the same word if you have more than one ax or more than one axis. English is one screwy language.Irridium said:19, not inverted. Though I do play quite a few flying games with an inverted axis(whats the plural of axis? Axii. Axises, Axis'?).
I can usually switch between inverted/non-inverted fairly easily, so yeah. I'm just awesome like that.

But is it inverted if that's the way it's meant to be? (With regard to how a real flight-stick works)thecoreyhlltt said:i can't stand inverted controls for FPS games, but if it's a flight sim or any kind of game involving flying then hells yeah i invert them bitches!!!!
That's what I was thinking. It's not as strong of a correlation as I was expecting (I was thinking that by the time you hit 25, it would be over half of the population), but it's a pretty strong correlation all the same. Inverted aim isn't very popular overall, but it's more popular with older gamers.Geek_DR said:Well frankly, there is a pretty obvious correlation: The older one is, the more likely it is they will prefer inverted. 5% 13-16
10% 16-19
18% 20-24
36% 25+
(rounded, and at time of writing)
It's nearly a geometric increase.
