The newest Dragon Quest Game has a really deep level of Personal Customization.Vrach said:Any really good JRPGs you can suggest? Preferably something that would appeal to a person who enjoys WRPGs? Would like to give them a shot, am not a fan of japanese art style, crazy hairdoos and all that jazz, but if it's a good game, I'd like to try oneGigaguy64 said:I love them.
Though i lean toward JRPGs more than WRPGs.
Examples of the ones I liked: Morrowind, Oblivion, DA:O (prefer the first/third person RPGs tho), ME2, Alpha Protocol etc.
edit: oh and preferably a recent release, I hate dealing with outdated graphics (doesn't need to be awesome, just not too outdated) and old gameplay/controls
It is really stylistic but supposedly a ton of fun, and its going to be supported with a lot of free Downloadable Content thought the year.
Its on the DS.
And if your willing to try a more leniear game Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2:The lost Age are both Excellent Games.
The characters are Preset but you can customize many things from the Typical Armor and equipped items to their Classes and Skills(Psynergy).
I enjoyed the 2nd one more than the first but they really should be played in order.
And the Artwork and Battle Graphics are really something to look at.
Its Anime/Manga style but its not overly Crazy.
Both are typical Turn Biased Games though.
Phantasy Star is the only Series that i can think of that follows a Morrowind Style.
Hope this helps.
