I listen to a lot of orchestral music.

Classical? Not so much. I love most classical music, mind, but a few things get in the way. First, I know nothing about it, and Youtube is remarkably unhelpful where finding new stuff is concerned, in this case. I know that Bach is pretty amazing, though.

Also, remembering actual bits of music (what's the proper term here? Instrumentals? Not songs, certainly) is something of a closed book to me, what with stuff being named/catalogued in an exceedingly stupid manner back then.

Help would be appreciated, hint hint. I am being very subtle here.

..Yes I'm joking. Should learn to get some stuff done myself, after all.

Well Escapist's.
I'm a big fan of classical music but of course I listen to all sorts of it, except for rap and hip hop which stands for retards attempting poetry.
(No offese towards well, retarded people)
Well I listen mostly to Beethoven,Haydn,Chopin,Mozart and Schubert.
How about you escapist's?
I had classical music shoved down my throat from the time I was about 5 years old, all the way through to when I did a music degree. I've heard almost all of it and I like almost none of it, and not from a position of ignorance - I understand exactly how it works and to me that's what makes it dull.

I probably only really listen to classical music these days when it's used in a rap song.

Ever since I started Fallout: New Vegas, and my character in my play was from the 1940s, I can't get enough of that music. It's classical in a way :p

Nope, not really. But i do listen to symphonic metal.
Its only classical if it has neoclassical influences or follows classical music theory, otherwise its just metal with an orchestral backing.
Don't know much about music, but it's the closest i get to classical music tho :)

Sometimes but not much really, I have a great respect for it because it's true music unfettered by the music industry but I tend to stick to my post rock music which is kinda similar in a way.

I personally love this song:

Because it makes me feel like I could conquer a nation by myself.

I listen to all types of music, including classical. My favourites are Saint Saens, Holst and Bizet. It depends on my mood.

Well I like the fact about Classical music that you have 100 or more members syncing into one loud great sound and often it sounds very good. I also like it because I listen to its successor, that is Metal! but not on a daily basis or anything but sometimes....
Unless...
does this count?

I'm a Romantic Period enthusiast myself. Johann Strauss II and Giachino Rossini are my favorite composers, probably due in no small part to all the cartoons I watched as a kid that featured the music of both.
Yay for cartoons! That's how I got into classical as well. The animators of the 40s and 50s ripped off a lot of great composers, but my personal favourite has to be Franz von Suppe:

That's the overture to "Morning,Noon and Night in Vienna". WB actually used the WHOLE THING as the musical score for one memorable short, featuring Bugs Bunny as the conductor!

Why yes, yes I do. I'm not too much into the "oldies" as they played them though, I prefer modern arrangements. E.S. Posthumus, Bond, and the great Leopold Stokowski rock my world. I'm not sure if their styles technically count as "classical," but they're close enough to me, and MAN are they powerful.

The second none gets really good at 2:00, and is actually a "remix" of its original version. I prefer this one though, it's much more intense.

Yes often when I want to relax or just to let me think about serious things. I also listen to soundtracks (videogame and some movie and anime) which, though technically their own genre, I believe are just the classical genre continued.
Classical music is pretty amazing. . . I mean come on, what other genre of music have lasted so long and stayed so strong!

P.S. I some times listen while I game too, its better than any other genre for that IMHO, Opera arias are good for that as well!

I listen to a bit more modern music, like Williams and Hisashi.
