I had classical music shoved down my throat from the time I was about 5 years old, all the way through to when I did a music degree. I've heard almost all of it and I like almost none of it, and not from a position of ignorance - I understand exactly how it works and to me that's what makes it dull. The Stonker said:Well Escapist's.
I'm a big fan of classical music but of course I listen to all sorts of it, except for rap and hip hop which stands for retards attempting poetry.
(No offese towards well, retarded people)
Well I listen mostly to Beethoven,Haydn,Chopin,Mozart and Schubert.
How about you escapist's?
Don't know much about music, but it's the closest i get to classical music thoNovskij said:Its only classical if it has neoclassical influences or follows classical music theory, otherwise its just metal with an orchestral backing.Kris015 said:Nope, not really. But i do listen to symphonic metal.
Yay for cartoons! That's how I got into classical as well. The animators of the 40s and 50s ripped off a lot of great composers, but my personal favourite has to be Franz von Suppe:SimuLord said:I'm a Romantic Period enthusiast myself. Johann Strauss II and Giachino Rossini are my favorite composers, probably due in no small part to all the cartoons I watched as a kid that featured the music of both.
