yes, it's just plain fun, not to mention the friends you can make out of that, especially if it's over a long period of time.

If they get a kill on me, then teabag or shoot/hit my body, I will go out of my way to make sure they die many deaths.

While I do usually believe in "An eye for an eye," I don't, because that just makes everything worse for the team.

Wait until I can boot his ass.

I kill them if I can in a RPG. Online I try get revenge, but if I can't then I just take it out on some poor soul.

Not so much in other games, but I love to do it when I'm messing around in GTA IV multiplayer. If someone kills me repeatedly, I try to find a weapon that could do some serious damage and then stalk them and wait for the prime opportunity to kill. Mwa ha ha ha...

Exactly. It's half the fun of multiplayer, and I'm addicted to rage :p

What a strange turnout. I guess it's more of an FPS multiplayer kind of thing. Even in single-player games with common saves, where if I wanted to I could reload the last save, whip out the best weapon, kill that enemy that got me in a spectacular way and then reload, I just don't do it.

Is it just a testosterone high that leads to violence like this? Probably. I get my rage out in other ways, so maybe that's why I'm not that partial to it. Do I gloat after a very hard enemy? Usually, but sometimes I'm just too annoyed and spent to do so. (I usually then trade in the stressful game)

Certainly. Not usually to an extent where I would begin to hunt a specific player or prefer that to others. More often it's about shooting a guy down who I know to be really good (it doesn't matter that much if he/she's killed me before or not, but if he has, the better).

I regularly do this in Guild Wars, whenever someone brings an annoying/cheap build. God help them if they're a minion master and I'm playing a mesmer.

Heh, no.
Most of the time, I don't even remember the names of people I play with.
Even in SC2.
People go "Hey again!"
And I have no clue who they even are.
Even if I just played against them in the last game.

There are exceptions, though.
Like if there's an especially annoying person around, I may go out of my way to make life miserable for them.
Just simple things, like noticing where the guy tends to camp and bouncing grenades from behind walls and such.
I've gotten a few kills with headshots through walls by remembering popular camp-spots.
So much rage.

Sometimes, yeah sure.
But there are times where you play in a server and there is a guy playing against you (let's call im X), and apparently this X guy is on a crusade against you and you have no idea why, evey time you die in that game from a certain point in the game until the end of it, the killer is gonna be X.
And no matter how HARD you try you'll NEVER kill him, that kind pisses me off and what seemed to be a normal game, turns into a brutal revenge fight to death between you and X.

Yes, when i played Halo with a friend he would constantly stick me with a grenade just as i melee an enemy then i would melee him in the back just as he is going to charge the enemy to get him back, then it pretty much degenerated into a constant battle of killing each other until we forgot what we were doing in the first place.

I revenge kill all the time in Pokemon! My Scarfed Infernape is especially good at it!

yes, but SOMETIMES
only if it's reasonable
and especially if its good for the whole team too (maybe not in this exact situation for me, but taking out that pesky sniper to prevent him from totally bugging your teammates)

I mean, I can take a hit to my pride (or teabagging) instead getting enraged and just charging back in and giving him repeated kills on me x/

only when its a super annoying troll douchebag, especially if they are on my team

in reach the other day i grabbed the sniper, got a killing streak with all headshots off the bat, and some douchebag on my team kept sitting right behind me, meleeing me every 5-10 seconds to get my shield down and to get me out of scope, just hoping someone would shoot me so he could take the sniper, the fucker literally sat there for 2 minues doing that till someone finally did kill me, but the bastard only had one shot left in the sniper, in which he got headshotted from their sniper cuz he sucked and i continued to go over and teebag him while i had already grabbed the fresh new sniper.
some jerkoff kept taking pistol shots at me in a sniper firefight match
of course it was annoying for the obvious reasons, forcing you out of scope, but it got worse when I'd get killed because he took out my shields
I finally coaxed him into actually killing me so I could boot that dumbass

but yeah I generally avoid grabbing the sniper rifle cuz I'm not the most proficient unless I have a pretty good feeling I'm teamed up with a bunch of idiots (generally when I have a guest playing with me)

Yes. The only multiplayer shooter I play is TF2, and that game specifically has a nemesis system, so I'd assume the developers intended players to go for revenge. That said, I won't specifically go after a class that's a hard counter to mine, since it's probably not going to help my team at all.
