I haven't even shaved my beard because I'm so lazy. All that chore work and your only reward is doing the chore again.

I did consider getting an electric razor, but there are three things stopping me from doing so...

1) I don't know what I'm looking for... (Circular/straight motion, special features, etc...)

2) The price for any electric shaver is at least $140 AUD... well, for a "name-brand" model anyway...

3) I don't need to shave (my face) often enough for THAT cost to be justifiable... Since, again, I don't know if I need a "special" shaver for the job...
Absolutely recommending an electric. Shaving there with a actual razor... *shudder*

1) You really should look at on intended for body hair, they're built differently from ones intended for the face.

2) Have you ever been to The Shaver Shop? They always had stuff on sale when I live in Australia. Here's the first model I used, it's on sale for $34.95:

The new model I'm using is also on sale, $79.95:

Philips is a really good electric razor brand, I've used their stuff for years. They're cheap, but high quality. A lot of the time they're made in the Netherlands instead of China!

3) I switched to electric for my face years ago. It's far better, no razor burn, no cuts, no need for cream, is faster and doesn't need as much maneuvering to get hairs that grow in difficult directions (depending on what kind of electric razor you buy).

Yes, but the physiques of body builders and actors aren't miles apart (that is, it's degrees of the same look) - and shaving the hair allows definition to show on a muscular body; we're kind of used to that. But not so much on other body types - I don't think anyone is expecting Timothy Spall to shave his nips.
Even if you're not a body builder, shaving off the hair on your chest allows for whatever muscle definition you have to show through. Provided you have SOME muscle definition of course.

Girl, and yes I always shave
Must be nice, girls don't have the wrinkles and nooks and crannies of a dude down there. You'd be able to get the job done in like half the time!

For a second, I thought the subject was "Do you shave your Neanderthal"!

Of course, the answer is a resounding "No!" I let him be as wild as the Good Lord made him.

Same with me.

There's a reason the word "hirsute" sounds like "hair suite"...

There are parts of me I'd like better smooth, but thus far I've only trimmed my crotch. Though I'll probs try shaving someday. 'Cos everyone gets bored of anything eventually.

I like to keep my body clean from hair pretty much everywhere, but down there is where I haven't done it yet. Will do eventually since body and facial hair is something that I just find gross (on myself anyway).

I used to shave everything. You have to be careful otherwise razor burn is a *****. Make sure your razor is reasonably new. A trick I learned was to use conditioner on the area after you shave it. I had no more problems with razor burn after that.

Then, I only shaved my nuts. Personally, I think it's kind of weird looking for a guy to have everything shaved, like a plucked bird or under aged child (yikes).

Now, I only keep myself trimmed short. It became too much trouble for a benefit I don't care to have anymore. I guess you can say I grew out of it.

I tried shaving my bikini line once and the itching after was so bad I vowed never to do it again. (Female here if you couldn't tell from "bikini line")

I do however wax it into a reasonable triangle and then trim what's left. I wax my legs almost every month and my bikini line every other month to allow extra time for a slightly more sensitive area. Once you've got the hang of pulling at the right angle, it's a pretty quick process. I can do both legs and bikini line in less than an hour. And I get nice smoothness for up to a month! And less regrowth!

I also wax my arms and top lip from time to time. I have a lot of fine, but dark hair.

I guess the only place I actually shave is my underarms, because I sweat too much in that area for the wax to stick properly.

I'd recommend giving it a shot! Get a decent electric razor intended for body hair and just take your time. Should be fine!

Well I grow hair right in my ass crack and it's and it's a (literal) pain in the ass to shit otherwise. So Yes, yes I do. Even shaving as often as I do I'm hairier then most guys. It fucking sucks.

Ahem.... my partner is too petite to achieve a depth of oral penetration that it would be an issue....

So no i do not disturb the shrubbery, if i had another partner with a weaker gag reflex, i would certainly entertain requests.

In my younger days I tried it once out of curiosity, the stubble achieved an unimaginable amount of tugging against the fabric of my underwear

Oh, I hadn't considered that the hair would be in someone's face if one's partner could go that distance. But that makes sense.

I tried it once too. The buzzer clipped the pubic region something fierce. Caused a small cut (again, in the region, not on the forest or oak) and I thought better of it from then on.

I am pretty grossed out by body hair so yes I have none and I am sure my man appreciates the extra attention he receives since he has none either. A mouth full of hair is just bleh. Oh and that " trimming" nonsense.. sand paper is not fun to kiss either. Just take it all off already not half ass it.

My cunning deception strikes once more! I also consider making someone think of Animaniacs it's own success.

Interesting results on the polls, there's a good amount of guys who say they shave. Though how many of them answered "yes" without reading that the topic is pubic hair and not facial hair, I'm unsure.

I voted 'yes', but it's a short trim and not a razor-shave. Seems to keep the funk away for longer than a full bush and it's much faster to towel off after a shower. Looks neater too. I also trim the pits for the same reasons.

I rarely trim, but when I do I trim it short, but only in the immediate area around the actual penis itself, balls are way to fragile and a small miss leaves I cut, and I dislike any cuts in that area more out of paranoia than anything.

But no, never clean shaven. It'd just look weird, and having some hair there is comfortable and nice. But yes, its hell when I let it get too long. For years I just didn't, 'cause I thought it'd be fine. Slightly itchy? W/E. Parts get caught in it? 5 second adjust, everyone does it. When it got to each hair being at least 5cm long, probably longer, the bases started getting unnecessarily sharp, and cutting me from time to time. I barely even know how. So I got the hell rid of that and have not let it reach that length since, though it comes close every few months.

Its kind of like my beard in many ways, though for me that's more laziness than anything. CBF touching it, but then it gets that little bit too long and it hurts to rest my chin on anything, instead of being a nice soft cushion, so away it goes.

In both cases my partner prefers me with hair. She doesn't shave there either, though she does try to trim from time to time. Porn has made her think that looks better or something, but she knows I don't really care so long as everything is accessible, so most of the time she doesn't bother.
