Poll: do you talk to yourself?

I think aloud, with or without people around. But that's probably not the same thing.
*chuckle* I write for a hobby, so there has been occasions when I 'voice' conversations to see if they seem right. Sometimes its like watching Smeagol in Two Towers.

I think aloud (which is talking to myself) quite a bit when I'm alone. Somehow it makes me feel better if I'm in a downer (because I'm alone)

I plan out conversations in my head but I normally also plan the setting and any important physical actions that go with it. The conversations are normally ones that I will have to have sooner or later.

Near constantly because I can't be bothered to keep my thoughts in my head. I do it usually when I'm agitated though. At least I have the sense to speak in a whisper.

Also helps you learn what you sound like, whether you come off as being a complete jerk or a completely nice guy.

When I'm working on a problem, or am sleep deprived, hell yes.
In fact once when I was sleep deprived I had a 3 way argument with myself. Interesting times, interesting times.

All the time. Most of my best thinking is done when I can say what I'm thinking outloud. Even when I'm not thinking about something important I'll talk to myself. I won't do it in public though, or if someone's in earshot, only when I'm on my own, and usually at a whisper if I think someone might hear me.

I seem to talk to myself and creat situations/scenarios in my head, then i say these situations like I'm there and I play it out, of course this is when I'm alone in my room with no humans closer than my closed door.
