Snooping is in the Facebook Charter.
Sorry, but I cannot vote in your poll.TrogzTheTroll said:Pretty simple question here, Tons of my friends use it but I just don't use it.
Good lord, the ads. I'm straight, but I have a few gay friends, and I've also joined a couple of gay rights groups, such as "Repeal Don't Ask Don't Tell". This is out of almost 70 friends and close to 300 groups and fan pages. For some reason, Facebook has picked up on this statistically insignificant figure, and decided to send me targeted ads aimed at gay men. WTH?Chester41585 said:I use it. I hate the chat program and I really hate their ads. No, I don't want to hook up with singles. No, I don't want a quick date. No, I don't want to... meet up with local cougars?
The ads are necessary evil. The owners have to make money so it's personalized advertising for you! Only once has an ad ever peaked my interest (it was for lab equipment :-/ ) and that was because it was totally unexpected, so it doesn't seem to be that effective.Chester41585 said:I really hate their ads. It's only a contest if you enter the competition. Just only add people you know. ^_^esperandote said:All social networking is just a popularity contests.
I'm gonna go with the gay = Freddie Mercury = Awesome line of thinking there because no intelligent, articulate and well rounded escapist would ever insinuate homosexuality is stupid/bad....joshthor said:though facebook is annoying. you have to "like" everything. just gay.
