House. I think it's better written, funnier, has better characters and a story that's actually interesting.

Scrubs is a comedy show that lacks all depth. That's perfectly fine, but what bugs me is that they try to add drama every now and then and generally fail miserably (only 2 exceptions come to mind). And really, if I'm going to watch a comedy, I feel no difference between watching Scrubs or Fairly Oddparents with my kid (Yeah, I'm a grown man, but Cosmos is freakin' hilarious). Fairly Oddparents might even be better since the poorly written, two dimensional characters in that show don't waste my time trying to make me care.

Also, Hugh Laurie (Greg House) is a fantastic actor. Most people that watch the show don't even realize that he a) is not American, and b) has a very distinct accent. Zach Braff, however, is only a mediocre actor/director/writer, in my opinion. (Yet still somehow comes off as one of the most arrogant pricks I never met.)

I like House because it has a good balance between comedy and drama.
On Scrubs if anyone ever dies it's such a slap to the face since it's usually so cartoony. I like to call this the Gurren Lagann effect.

My moms a nurse and she told me that scrubs is much more like a real hospital than house. People crack jokes and do dumb things and pull anything they can to kind of lessen the pain. House solves medical mysteries that are either totally fictitious or easier than they sound while the characters never develop any real emotions. I have a feeling if you ask anyone who has worked for a while in a hospital they will agree that even with the cartoonish elements Scrubs gets it closer to reality.

Of course Scrubs is more realistic. Realism doesn't always translate to enjoyment for me. I like House because it's different.

Personally, I detest all of those. I don't find Scrubs funny at all (and this from someone who likes cut-away humor, like Family Guy) and I'm not a big drama-TV show-guy, so none of the rest. M*A*S*H was the last "doctor show" I enjoyed, unless you count Frasier.

I tried to like scrubs but the way they bludgeon you over the head with overly simplistic "messages" about really complex life changing events in every single episode just makes me cringe. So I'll say I prefer house for now.

Also 90% of the charecters in scrubs are shit and not funny (just my opinion)

House, definitely House.
The show is funny, but the medicine is a major part of the show, scrubs is just a sitcom with doctor jokes thrown in occasionaly,
