I like House because it has a good balance between comedy and drama.
On Scrubs if anyone ever dies it's such a slap to the face since it's usually so cartoony. I like to call this the Gurren Lagann effect.

My moms a nurse and she told me that scrubs is much more like a real hospital than house. People crack jokes and do dumb things and pull anything they can to kind of lessen the pain. House solves medical mysteries that are either totally fictitious or easier than they sound while the characters never develop any real emotions. I have a feeling if you ask anyone who has worked for a while in a hospital they will agree that even with the cartoonish elements Scrubs gets it closer to reality.

Yes but so does watching an emotionally stunted three year old whos personality never evolves and who stands around people who are functionally a mix of 'marge simpson' style enablers and cardboard cutouts.

M*A*S*H*, obviously! But, I didn't vote for it. ER would have been my second choice, because I enjoy watching it with my girlfriend. I actually voted for House because Scrubs pisses me off so much, and I wanted it not to win, and I knew that those two would be getting the votes.

Scrubs had, to adopt my ratings certificate persona here, scenes of moderate emotional intensity in the first two series, one in the third, from then on was SHIT. It stopped being funny in S4, the show has been slowly crashing. I genuinely like the first two serieses, and whilst 3 and 4 are nothing special they are better than most other TV, but from then on, what the hell? What the fuck? They totally lost it, lazy shite story and joke writers. GAH.

I mean, I respect all of your opinions, sorry. Don't want to start a flame war, but personally nothing in that show has made me laugh since S4. I just feel numb when I watch it. Like, uurgh, Two and a Half Men.
