YOU TOOK YOUR TEST IN CHINATOWN TOO!?!?!?!.......Nautical Honors Society said:I took the wrong turn.
I stopped past the stop line at a red light.
The instructor literally had to get out of the car to see if I was in the lines when I backed into a space.
That was my first try.
I passed.
Luck as in getting the non asshole cop. Took me 3 tries but part of my issues was I would insta panic when the cop would get in the car beside meBucht said:I got it at the 4th time, but I'm being honest when I say that I still drive exactly as good as on my first attempt.
Luck is just as important as your driving skills on those tests. (at least where I live)
That's interesting to hear, because I was amazed at how easy it sounded to get access to a motorcycle.Private Custard said:Do you have a motorcycle license too? Now that's a ***** of a test!Actual said:I passed first time which was a surprise to me. I hate driving. Selling my car now so it was pretty pointless in the long run, but I might buy a motorbike as parking in Cambridge is ridiculous.
I passed my full motorcycle test on attempt 2, rode for a year and a half and then passed my driving test on the first attempt after half the recommended training time.
Driving's easy after doing the bike thing first!
That's the CBT. You'll be qualified to ride a 125 with L plates, but you won't be allowed a full power 125, just a castrated and restricted version. The CBT certificate is only valid for 2 years. If you haven't passed your full test by that point, you'll have to re-take your CBT again.Actual said:That's interesting to hear, because I was amazed at how easy it sounded to get access to a motorcycle.Private Custard said:Do you have a motorcycle license too? In England, from the age of 17 (I think) you can take a full day of training and then you are qualified to drive a light bike for years without taking the actual driving exam. As long as you don't use the motorways.
This is what I'll do, just for riding about town.
