Well if you're hoping for a glimpse of something, you'll be disappointed. Allow me to explain what happens in the book for those who haven't read it.

It's a vision given to Ron by a cursed item to shake his self confidence when he's trying to destroy it. He by this point totally loves Hermione and is afraid she doesn't like him because he's too plain compared to Harry, so the Horcrux (wank word, I know) shows him a vision of distorted versions of Harry and Hermione together. So in the film it'll be entirely hidden, mist, shadows, etc
Thanks sir, I was about to explain the same thing. Although yes, it would be interesting to see the kind of controversy arising from that.

Oh, and after your explanation, thread is ended!

Books are pretty good (If you realize I read the 1st when it came out and I was like 10) movies are so-so

but who cares about the boobies, sure they look nice but everybody acts like its full frontal legs spread dryhumping.

Enjoyed the books and the movies. But seeing them in any degree of nudity seems a bit "creepy uncle" as we have all been watching them grow up over the years. Seems weird.

That said, if this indicates that the last two movies will have a slightly older rating (15 in the UK perhaps) then that could be a good thing. There is quite a lot of brutality in the final book and I do hate it when conflict is made cuddly to be suitable for children (I am looking at you here George Lucas...what the frak were you doing having Threepio wise cracking while the Jedi died...)

Uhh some sexual innuendo having to do with a wand? I'm too tired to think of one right now I'll let someone else do it.

I can however guarantee a huge box office kaboom if this does happen. The number of fanboys running into cinemas and the number of creepy stalker people will make them a tonne of money.

I think we, as a culture, need to get the hell over nudity. Oh My God Bodypart! just doesn't cut it. The body isn't dirty, or disgusting, or unnatural. It's just human, whether it's Radcliffe or Watson or Jack Black or you or I.

Nude scenes? More power to them. We just need to stop fetishising every inch of skin available, within the set parameters of media-deemed "Attractiveness" of course. God forbid people should expose skin that's outside the norm.
I'm going to go back in time and promote naked heads as a suitable replacement for fetishism. One day, you'll turn a corner and see a hot chick walking around with boobs out, but no one will pay her any mind until her hat comes off!

And then you'll hear one of your favourite actors posed in Playhead magazine and pick up a copy.

While I don't see being nude in a film as a big deal these days, I can't help but ask the big one-word question:

Why?

What does it accomplish? What is the reasoning behind it? What will it add to the film?

I have the feeling its just someone walking in on them while changing, so we see Watson's bum and that's about it. There's no way any studio would allow the Potter series past PG-13.

Just got back from a battle with an army of silverfish dining happily on my books. I reread the scene (It's shortly before the end of the Silver Doe chapter if you're curious), and there's really no reason they would need to be naked for the scene.. there's no mention of them being naked.

that being said, I'm sure it will be done well and not excessive or explicit at all.

I thought Watson wasn't going to do any more Harry Potter films?
I believe that the last two films are being shot back to back and that much of the principal photography is already complete.

I would love to see Emma Watson naked.

However, they shouldn't do it in Harry Potter, a film series that will inevitably be seen by children.

What? They're FAMILY MOVIES. That are MADE IN THE USA. Likely 'ron's vision' will just be the two of them kissing or something. Sheesh.

This gets a big who cares from me.

Though I doubt that it'd fit in with the feel of the last films...

If Daniel and Emma get told to have sex on scene, I hope the director gets sued over breach of contract.

I'm actually quite surprised by the responses in this thread... The escapist never ceases to amaze me.

This pretty much sums up the entire thread in a nutshell.

1, Emma Watson is a beautiful girl who will no doubt appear nude in many films in her career. Do we really need to sink to our most basic instincts from the mere mention of her naked body?

and 2, Children who have seen all of the movies thusfar have seen people murdered. They've seen brutality. Wormtail cut his own hand off to perform a blood ritual. In the very first movie they saw a man graphically burn to ashes. They've seen more blood then they're likely to see in their entire real life.

And if these movies follow the book as closely as they have for the past books, there's bound to be plenty more blood and violence in this movie.

If they were showed nudity, would that do them any more harm? seriously? Do we really want ANOTHER generation so confused and shameful of their own naked bodies that they continue the cycle of needless shame?

To the guy I quoted, I'm not really picking on you.. you just happened to sum up the issues that have bothered me in this whole thread. Yours is actually less aggravating then most of the threads, just due to how succinct you were.
