No, its a fun game. That and theres always someone to play with, either with friends in the room or online.
I think its just part of a hate for popular games.

Considering that I owned a PS3 I can tell you with certainity that it lacks any good exclusive shooters. Killzone 2 is overrated (and the original is among the worst games made for the PS2). The fact that Sony wants their own Halo lookalike only reinforces the fact that they and their community spin negative comments about the game in order to undermine its gameplay. I never said Halo was the greatest game ever, but the first 2 were among the strongest console shooters I have played. Your restatement of the generic manner of the game is overdone and a weak excuse for why the game is bad. Bringing back Killzone 2, that game is many times more generic than even Halo was. Gameplay is what ultimately matters for a game more than most other aspects (which are still important) however they are not necessary to having fun. You yourself are blinded by your PS3 faboyishness, as I have owned all the consoles for extended periods of time. Calling another person a fanboy without reason only makes you look like more of a Sony fanboy yourself.F-I-D-O said:Yeah, because going over to a friend's house who has it and playing it there is impossible...Crimsonsniper said:Halo has started to become overrated, but to say one hates the games is a lie. The first two were great, Bungie just started to lose its way with the third. Most people who say they hate Halo have never played it because they own a Sony or Nintendo console and don't want to admit another console or developer has designed a game that they desire, thus they look for every flaw and can find in order to diminish the value of the game. This doesn't stop them from getting excited every time they hear a rumor its coming to their own console though and now that bungie and activison are working closely together all the Sony fanboys will be dieing to get their hands on whatever they produce.
PS: In regards to Halo being a generic game, just grow up already if that is your only arguement, many people would argue the original Half-Life is a generic game, doesn't change the fact it was great.
I'm a PS3 owner. Last gen I had a PS2. You could say I'm a PS3 fanboy. I'll take liitlebigplanet over Halo any day. Because LBP is fun, interesting, a fresh take on a platformer, allows creativity (yes I know about forge), you can make a variety of experiences in the level builder, and it has a nice, accepting, and more mature online community.
Halo 1 had a good story. The books have a good story. Halos 2-3 do not.
Halo (all of them) have repetitive areas, poor enemy AI, bad voice acting, and it is extremely generic. When it came out, it was one of the few Space marine badass killing aliens. Now, that same title has become generic. Half life has the Orwellian society (at least in 2), good story, and varied level design going for it. The majority of the Halo franchise does not. I've played halo, and was not impressed. And you, Crimsion Sniper, are not different from the other fanboys. You are blinded by loyalty to the xbox that you can't believe halo has flaws and you must degrade anyone who says otherwise. Halo looked cool. I do not desire it because...THE PS3 HAS LITTLEBIGPLANET!!!
BTW, I think that Bungie is cool and would be willing to buy a good, non generic game made by them. That doesn't mean Halo is any less of a generic shooter with a poor story and copy and pasted environments.
P.S. Halo fans cause a deep burning hatred in my soul.
Nope. Keep going, lazy fool.Crimsonsniper said:P.S.S.S.S.S.: Think I have enough P.S.'s?
