Batman. In his time period, he´d kick Ezio´s ass...he kows the tech way better. In Ezio´s time, he´d still kick his ass, since Batman has already travelled through time in the comics and kicked all kinds of ass, even without his gadgets. He´s skilled in multiple martial arts and he is an experienced detective. Ezio is cool but he doesnt stand a chance.
Let's see the man who takes on psycho's mutants and supervillains on a nightly basis, or the man who get into fist fights with the pope. Hmm choices.
Also a piece of eden wouldn't work on batman. He has way to much will power to be controlled by it.
yup, Bats would win hands down. For a start Batman can FUCKING CROUCH. But even if it was a fight to the death, Batman would probably die of old age before Ezio got the drop on him. You underestimate Batman's uncanny ability to not die. Hell he even got his bak broken like a freakin' toothpick by Bane and y'know what he was doing about 6 months later? OT: Batman all the way. He's super-intelligent, super athletic, a genius detective and has highly attuned senses. Even in a fight to the death (which Batman has been in time and time again) He's find a way out, or at least a way of completely disabling his opponent. Remember in The Dark Knight? He dropped that mob boss from a third story fire escape just to get a point across.
Batman may be above killing, but he's sure as hell not above maining the hell outta his targets to the point where they literally cannot walk anymore.

In my opinion I'd want Batman to win but without Bat-gadgets and suit and in a strange city it does de-power Batman a bit. However, he'd still win cos he can take people out with hand-to-hand combat where as Ezio needs knives. Batman would have Ezio strung up hanging from the rafters quicker than you could say 'I'm batman'.
Anyone who's that deadly with just there own limbs has to win by some sort of law. (I kid about the law thing by the way).
Put the other way round with Ezio in Gotham, sorry, Batman would win in a blink. In fact it would be a little unfair.

It's really impossible to know, since both are fictional characters in different universes. Anything one can say about their choice, can be countered immediately by something a fan of the other says. No one can win this debate.

I'm really suprised there's a contest here. This is Batman we're talking about. This is the man who seems to be awake 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with absolutly no negative side effects. This is a man who has spent, decades (several of them) honing his skills to the point that he, with no super powers, almost single handedly keeps gotham from falling apart. This is a man who juggles dozen antagonists on one hand wilst juggling his crazy playboy millionare lifestyle on the other. This is a man who has a Dalek in his armory "just in case". This is a man who could, if he so felt like it, cripple the entire justice league single-handedly.
I think he could figure out how to beat you in a fight to the death without killing you.

You people are assuming this is some kind of face-to-face battle where both sides know their adversaries. But unlike Batman, who chooses to be a universally recognized symbol even in the night, one of Ezio's most important skills is the ability to remain anonymous.
In that regard, the World's Greatest Detective would have to put his skills to the test.
With the kind of Detective Vision displayed in Arkham Asylum, Batman would easily have the upper hand.
But in a historical Renaissance setting, Ezio would be at least an even match for Batman. He DOES have Leonardo Da Vinci on his side, after all.
