bad writing?
SP has some of the BEST WRITING of all animated shows.
and it is so funny, it can take regular, everyday issues and turn them into some of the BEST comedy on TV

I went south park, for me it's been consistently funny. Family guy has it's moments, as did futurama and for the last few seasons the Simpsons has gone seriously downhill with the latest episodes in particular getting barely a grin. It could be argued that the Simpsons has been on for longer and that south park will lose it too and that may be true but as it is right now it's the better of the 3.

Also there is nothing worse than American Idol.
Not even Hitler.
I love you.

I can honestly say I was never bothered to watch Futurama, I don't really know why, i just never cared. If it had aired on tv, I might have watched it, but as far as I know, it never actually did, on decent hours, at least.
As well you should.

Futurama was on Adult Swim, last I checked, and Comedy Central.
I don't remember the times, but it wasn't too absurdly late.
10, 11 PM, maybe?

It was pretty good stuff.
Well, I saw some episodes a few years ago - decent enough, as far as I remeber, certainly better than Simpsons - but it never aired for that long in Sweden (I think...) and when it did, I'm pretty sure it aired close to midnight, which became kinda late for me since I was, like, 15 or something and had to at least pretend I cared enough about my grades to stay awake during class.

If you were to ask me a year ago, i would have said south park. However, south park doesn't have the sting it used to. So my votes going to family guy.

Futurama used to be best (the early seasons), but it has declined a lot lately. Family Guy is a classic and the least politically correct option, so I'm going for that.

South Park lost it's glory, Simpsons is amusing but not laughable, and Family Guy has left me gasping for breath a lot of the time. Oh god the laughs.

....Oh.
You live in Sweden.

That would probably explain that, yes.
Sorry, I didn't really think about location and broadcast times in other countries.

Sleeping in class is great fun, though.
Yeeeaaaah... Sweden kinda fails...

Futurama, Fry 'No I'm doesn't'
But Simpsons has Ralph 'Someone pee'd in my pants' and 'Prinskipal Skipper, I got car sick in your office' and the all time classic 'Hi Super nintendo Chalmers'

It's a tough call but went with futurama.

Nothing can actually beat the simpsons. It's such a multi layered comedy, I've never seen something where I can watch it as a child and laugh, and watch the same episode as an adult and find a whole new layer of laughs.

Second would be a toss up between American Dad or South Park.

I enjoy all of the above, but Family Guy's inability to do more than one episode without flashbacks has for some reason stricken it from my eyes as being a contender for the best.

And Futurama is hilariously great, but not as good as the three above methinks.

is it just me or are the new episodes of Family Guy not funny? They keep using the same jokes and now it is way to political! Mabey it is time for a series finale...

Family Guy only just.

Family Guy provides the most raw laughs per running time, South Park takes the satirical ground and actually makes commentaries on contemporary social issues, and The Simpsons and Futurama are probably the best written.

South Park, then Futurama, then Family Guy. I've seen American Dad once and never enjoyed the Simpsons.

They're all too close. I really can't decide. But then again I'm horrible at picking favorites.

Though while we're on the subject I feel like pointing out that, much to my surprise, King of the Hill is a quite enjoyable show.

I voted Family Guy, but some of the older Simpson's episodes made it a toughie.
I've not really seen much of American Dad, is it any good?

Hard to choose between the Simpsons and South Park.

The past few Simpsons series haven't been great, but the latest episode (Waverly Hills 9021-d'oh) was hilarious.

Family Guy annoys the crap out of me and I'm yet to figure out why American Dad ever needed to be made.
