Poll: Favourite Mass Effect Alien

Alright fans of Mass Effect. Which alien race do you prefer? Simple question, but everyone's got their reasons for liking one over the other. (And sorry, I ran out of room so I couldn't fit the Geth, Hanar, and Rachni in)

I'll kick it off.

I am a massive fan of the Turians. Their sense of honor is one that always amazes me. If I could play any race in the game, I'd play as a Turian. Krogan is a close second for me with the Batarians, Salarians, and Volus all being interesting thirds that I can't really pick one over the others.

Krogans, then Turians.
Because Wrex is incredibly badass, as is Nihlus.

Turians, hands down. They're just awesome. I'm also a pretty big fan of the Protheans, just because of the mystery behind them. Krogan are probably a close third.

I like the look of the Asari. Turians get second for just being awesome.

I love the Turians. remind me so much of the Orfine.
If I was in the Mass Effect universe, There is no one else I'd rather have covering my back than a Turian. they have Honour. a human might backstab you.

Picked krogans due to extreme badassery,but salarians,quarians and hanar were all close runners up. I think the aliens in mass effect are incredibly well designed and theyre all cool in their own way(except the rachni,they disgust me..)

I don't know what Sovereign counts as, is it a Reaper, a Geth or it's own species? But either way Sovereign.

That's pretty much why I made this thread. I saw other threads asking about which alien race people favoured in all forms of entertainment. I felt that the races in Mass Effect were different enough and designed enough for them to have their own thread.

Sovereign is a reaper.This is made rather clear in the game.

Volus hands down. why? well becuase there the stupidest looking things alive and i find that to be very funny.

For me it's the Krogans (for obvious reasons), followed by the Turians. I love the Turian's sense of honor, and they remind me of the Elites from Halo (who are also awesome aliens).

Because Wrex is incredibly badass, as is Nihlus.

Nihlus dies during the Tutorial mission and doesn't even do anything. How is that badass?

He doesn't need to live to be a badass.
