First come Turians, just because I think they're the most intriguing and original alien design I've ever seen. As a force in the galaxy they seem like something that humanity could someday become, which is compelling.

Second is Salarians - I think out of all the races, the Salarians seem like the ones I would most want to hang out with.

My first thought was Quarian (in fact, that's how I voted) because I found Tali the only really relatable character, but on reflection, the Collectors. Read Ascension and/or watch the ME2 "Enemies" video on IGN to see what I'm talking about.

Of course I can appreciate the all-female race of the Asari, but as a favourite, I'll take the Salarians. They're the most 'traditional' looking aliens, and have the most awesome way of life.

About 4 hours of sleep and major-speed brain-usage the rest of the day.

Turians, hands down. They're the reason I was pissed you can't pick races in Mass Effect.

I also really like Salarians for some reason; I hope you can have one on your team this time round.

Krogans, partly because they are reptillian, partly because Wrex is ultimate awesome and partly because I can't help but feel sorry for them given that their once proud warrior culture has faded in the face of slow extinction.
Also Turians again because I'm pretty sure they are reptilian and because they have honor codes.
Also Asari.... this is mostly hormonal I'll admit but there is some good things they do as well, what with their biotics and stuff.

Oh what the hell, I really love all the races. I ain't no racist.

Well, Saren was doing what he did to save as many as possible. it wasn't that he was evil, just misguided.
And the fact that he wasn't a human, which means he wouldn't think to just fight, even if he couldn't win.

My favourite are the Turians. And I'm somewhat surprised that I'm in the majority. I would have thought that the Krogan or the Asari would be preferred.

For the record, my close second would probably be the Asari or the Quarians. Or perhaps the Elcor.
