Alright fans of Mass Effect. Which alien race do you prefer? Simple question, but everyone's got their reasons for liking one over the other. (And sorry, I ran out of room so I couldn't fit the Geth, Hanar, and Rachni in)

I'll kick it off.

I am a massive fan of the Turians. Their sense of honor is one that always amazes me. If I could play any race in the game, I'd play as a Turian. Krogan is a close second for me with the Batarians, Salarians, and Volus all being interesting thirds that I can't really pick one over the others.

See, For me it's a tie between Asari and Turians. Asari have EPIC biotic powers, and Turians are just badass. And they both are massivly influencial in the Citadel government-thingy.

Salarian I find them very interesting because of their speed and low life span.
Though I think some of the other aliens look cooler.

While most of the Mass Effect alien races are highly original and well thought I think the Asari stand out the most. Having played Warhammer 40k alot though I couldn't help drawing similarities between the races of Mass Effect and those of 40k. The krogans are alot like orcs, the reapers like necrons, the rachni like tyranids. The Asari were for me the most original of the bunch.

Turians, not only because Garrus was one of my favorite squadmates, but because they come close to kicking as much ass as the krogans, but still have the order of an advanced society. The krogans are like Warhammer 40k orks- the only thing holding them back is infighting. But they still get 2nd place.

Turians seem too much like elites to me. I like Quarians Krogan and elcor in that order

I like the ones who start every sentence by saying what tone they're using due to their incredilby boring voices. They remind me of HK-47 from Kotor and who doesn't love the sociopathic droid. Buggered if I can remember what they're called though, so I voted for Volus.

3- Quarians (it was a shame that Tali was the only one you saw throughout the game, she was one of the most likable characters in there)

What did you expect? Warhammer is awesome. If they rip 'em of wouldn't that mean Mass Effect would be awesome?
