i always choose a chick in a 3rd person, cos looking at a guys ass ingame for 8 or more hours just seems gay....
It is gay, which is why I can't understand supposedly straight male gamers find themselves staring at their male character's arse, rather than what's happening in the game.
In most 3rd person games, you're character's rear end isn't the focal point of the screen, more often than not it's near the bottom of the screen & offset to one side. The focal point of the screen is usually a cross-hair, or an even a blank area which represent where your character is looking.
I mean if you're playing a game and you keep finding you're attention drawn to you're male character's arse, rather the cross-hair, the HUD, your surroundings, the action on screen or the path your character is taking, then I don't think playing as a woman will help you with your issues, if anything it will only confuse matters.
To me, the entire argument "I'm so straight I have to pretend I'm a woman to stop myself staring at a guy's butt all day" screams gender identity issues and of being so trapped in the closet that R. Kelly is writing songs about you.
When you were playing Fallout 3, during the childhood phase, didn't you purposely not use the 3rd person view out of fear of being busted by Chris Hansen?
EDIT: Happy Toki Toki, this isn't specifically directed at you, even though I quoted you at the beginning, it's for everyone with this strange point of view.
