My 360 got the RROD several months after getting it. Although I did leave it on for four days straight...

Yeah. Still don't know how. But Microsoft's warranty prevailed, and the new one's been fine since.

Mine Redringed. But it was second hand. And it wasn't registered previously so i got a shiny new 360 for nothing within a week.

First time my power supply just blew (the big grey boxy thing)

It's now broken a second time and I'm in the process of sending it back. The graphics card died so I only have sound and no video.

No RROD though

Mine was working for well over a year, and then after my family started using Netflix and leaving the Xbox on for hours at a time when they weren't watching, it finally got E74.

I've had mine for just over a year (i got it for xmas last year) and it has never failed. It overheated once, but that was cause i played it for 8 hours straight.

Somebody i know has had his since launch and it has never failed

I don't see my option, I got the red ring of reoccurence, then I had another problem that was not red and/or ring shaped.

Twice. The first time it was because of the RRoD, so we sent it in to microsoft. Then the disc drive on the refurbished xbox we got back broke just days after the 1 month warranty ended. We eventually just bought a new one.
I hate microsoft

I had this thing where it wouldn't read discs at one point, but I solved that without much trouble.
