Neither.

Hatred looks rather bland, and has no reason to be controversial, so no thanks.

Splatoon is a multiplayer shooter on a console I don't own, so double no thanks.

Neither. Though Hatred if I were forced to pick one.

Hatred actually looks pretty fun to play but it comes across as the kind of experience that I'd only get if it was part of a bundle package for like $5.00.

Zero interest in Splatoon both because I don't own the console and more importantly because I have no interest in the multiplayer shooter genre. It's completely failed to win me over with any of it's hype. Also Splatoon's anti-consumer message disgusts me (refer to: [link]http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.876109-Splatoon-Amibos-Wheres-the-rage[/link] for more on that.

These games aren't competition though and I seriously doubt many people will be deciding to buy one over the other when they desperately want both.

Neither. A brother has already bought Splatoon, and Hatred looks like utterly shite controversy-bait.

I'm kinda middle of the road on both.

As I've said before the gameplay of Hatred looks a bit like Warhammer 40k Kill Team which was fun but terribly, terribly shallow. I imagine it'd be fun in short bursts for a little while but would get stale very quickly. That said the physics engine and the art style are both very nice. I'd probably get it for a few quid but no more because I just can't see enough being there for it to be worth more.

Splatoon looks like fun but I don't own a Wii U at the moment and that's a deal breaker because Splatoon isn't a system seller to me. If I had a Wii U I might consider getting it but without one its not doing anything to sell me on the console itself. Although if I do end up getting a Wii U for Xenoblade (the more I see of that the more its selling the Wii U to me) then I'll probably get Splatoon assuming the population hasn't all gone away by then.

Both, for similar reasons, oddly enough. They both have a cool art style and I like shooters

Splatoon... because if I'm going to be leaving liquid trails in my wake, then it better be as inky as fucking possible...

Plus, I honestly cared more about Splatoon than I ever did about Hatred, so there's that...

I might pick up Splatoon at some point, but not anytime soon. Looks fun, but I prefer first person multiplayer games.
Hatred might be the same thing, though I have even less interest in it. Also looks fun, even if in a basic, mind numbing way.

My attention is certainly focused else where though. I still haven't started The Witcher 3 yet, I'm hoping ARK: Survival Evolved will turn out decent as far as E.A. games go, and I've been itching to play Turok 2 again but haven't found the time.

I voted None however, since again I might not pick either of them up anytime soon if at all.

I have no interest in Hatred because I'm not a depressed 16-year-old.

Splatoon looks like a hoot and a half, but I need to pinch pennies right now for NYCC. I'll get it when my budget allows for it.

One day I might get Splatoon, but I've not got interest in Hatred. I'm all for ridiculous edginess for the sake of edginess, but only in internet meme pictures.

Hatred actually looks like fun. Reminds me of a dungeon crawler, and I like the Sin City like color scheme. Watched a few videos and they have some nice physics and I really really hope they add some awesome easter eggs. Like, they say you are going on a killing spree to die and go to hell. Well I sure wish they will actually make a Hell level. Mean while Splatoon just looks too kiddy for me, not to mention it is on a shitty console and not PC.

Hatred is a twin stick shooter type game where your objective is to really do a lot of things seen in mass shootings. Shoot up a police department, kill all the civilians in a home depo and so on. You recover health by executing people by just shooting them until they fall over and not just shooting them to death. The game to be all honest is not glorifying the actions seeing you do hear the moaning and scrams of your victims and hear the police chatter but as well the music is this foreboding tone. You get weapons and armor from police or civilians who armed them self's.

If this is your type of game go ahead I have no idea how long it is but I think it would last a few hours.

I don't own a WiiU so I can't comment on Splatoon but it looks fun and interesting.

I myself and busy with Witcher 3 and Bladestorm as well XIV is about to come out with its first addon.

Neither. I'm not interest in colorful cutesy kids games and i don't intend to ever buy that particular console which is already dead even in Nintendos eyes. As for Hatred.. I have no idea what it's even about and i don't care.

Would probably buy Splatoon if I had a Nintendo Console.

Rest is not worth mentioning.

I saw some gameplay of Hatred and it looked REALLY boring. But I might give it a play just so I can say I did, maybe I'll find some fun hidden in one of the innocent people's skulls...>.>

I'm not playing Splatoon, it just doesn't strike my fancy. While I enjoy some TPS's I'm not quite a fan of the viewpoint in general game-wise, the gameplay looks like every other capture the flag mode and I have TF2 for that. And besides TF2, I hate online play unless it's Pokemon.

That's beside the fact I don't own a Wii U, but I want to, so for the sake of this argument, let's assume I do.

Neither appeals to me, not that I have a Wii U to ignore Splatoon on. If I had to choose (and had that Wii U), I guess it would be Splatoon. I'm just not edgy enough for Hatred.

70 bucks plus tax, for an incomplete, multiplayer-focused title? No thanks, Splatoon. Not interested. Waiting on the new Zelda, and a release date for Xenoblade X. I just want strong single-player experiences with a decent amount of content to match the asking price.

Hatred looks bleh.

I'll likely not buy either but at a push splatoon; Hatred looks so generic it's boring, the game has been down hundreds of times already but because the player is the bad guy this time around it got unwarranted attention.

Neither, for the same reasons many other people have stated.

Hatred looks like arse and I'm not going to spend money on a whole new console just to play Splatoon.
