I voted keep it as a pet, but would most likely be a combination of a few. Mostly train and adventure, taking over the world is too much work.

Hide it from my rodent-hating mother, keep it as a pet. Because... what the heck else am I supposed to do with it? (Unless this means all pokemon are real, in which case, I'm getting out there and catching more!)
