Poll: How do you eat a burger?

I got this question in mind when me and my friends went to the same burger shop, got the same burger(right down to the condiments and veggies), and ate at the same table but ate the burger different ways. Here were the styles of consumption I noticed: I just ate the burger all the way through, front to back, only stopping for soda and fires; the guy on my right ate the burger but kept turning it so he could keep the ketchup from falling out of the burger, he did this by biting in the area the ketchup would overflow; the guy my left(you can call him lefty) cut the burger in half and ate one half and saved the other for later; lastly, the guy across from me kept taking bites of the burger while turning said burger. So that's the only categorized forms of eating a burger that I know of, which one is your style? How do you eat a hamburger?

Uh...the first option of the poll, I think.

Sometimes I'll rotate it though. It depends on how well it stays together, I think.

So it all depends on the bread? Or how greasy it is?

I'm thinking more on how loaded it is with its toppings. If it's really full, then things will begin falling out the sides. In that case, I rotate. If it's just got the bun and paddy, then this won't happen, and I eat straight through.

I usually eat the outer parts of the burger, leaving the juicy inner part for last. I don't seem to see that option on the poll though... Your options are rather confusingly worded...

Is there any 'way' to eat a burger?

I just put bits of it in my mouth until there's none of it left...

Usually pick the lettuce out, then I either eat it all the way through or do the turny thing around it. Oh and I need to eat all my fries first.

With a fork. It's far too much effort to find gluten-free buns to put them on, which are only mediocre at best, and the meat's the good part anyway.

I just go straight forward, right through the burger.

It's hardly a perfect technique. I've experienced the patty slipping out from between the buns when I took a bite once, because it was so lubricated with ketchup.

Spilling ketchup is rarely a problem though. If I do spill some, I solve it like this.

If it's a good large restaurant burger, I usually cut it in half. I don't divide to save the other half for later. I halved the burgers to make the handling more managable, because usually a large burger would fall apart.

If it's a fast food chain burger from McDonalds or Burger King or mini-burger like the White Castle Sliders, I go all the way through keeping the burger in one piece. I eventually turn and spiral near the end to ensure sauce and pieces don't fall off.

This. I've never really thought about how I eat a burger. I just gobble away until, inevitably, the damn thing has partially disintegrated in my hands, then I just stuff the rest in one go.

I'm weird when I eat burgers. If the patty is too small for the bun I have to chew around the burger to trim the excess bun, but only the bun I don't bite the burger. Before I do that though I alwasy kinda open the burger up and make sure it's centered on the bun and pick off any pickles, leaf lettuce (shreadded I like), or tomatoes.
