Why "lol" at meh-leh? It's a French word and that's how the French pronounce it.
I didn't jump to a French pronunciation at first, but I can see what you mean. Although when I first read meh-leh my brain read it with a fat Scottish accent

Meh-Lay.

I don't care if it's wrong, it just sounds cooler! I also switch between that and Mee-Lee. I'm a victim of Super Smash Bros, too. <.<

I used to read it as its spelled and say muh-lee but then I learned what I always have thought to be the correct pronunciation, mee-lay and that's how I've been saying it since.

May-lay because most of the others either sound lazy or just something is "off" about them.

I switch between May-lay, and Me-Lee. Should not get flak for pronouncing words like they are spelled. You are taught to "sound it out", and its not my fault the english language is so deranged.

I voted other just to mess with you, now theres probably people thinking 'how on Earth do those 10 people say it!'...

OT: I don't care how I or anyone else says it or any other word. As far as I'm concerned if you can understand what another person is saying then the communication that person is using has been succesful. Any of the above I would accept. No point arguing over communication that works.

I'm sure this has been pointed out, but you clearly can't speak your language, either.

I pronounce it may-lay, personally, though I used to pronounce it 'meh-lee'.

Meh-Lay.

I'm Australian, if that makes any difference.
It does, it sounds less weird because everything else you say sounds weird anyway. But in a good way!

I say "may-lay", which I believe is good enough French pronunciation to be expected of an American.
'Meh-lay' is closer. 'May-lay' is wrong, when you consider actual French pronunciation of the word. :p In truth, it doesn't really matter, but I always say 'meh-lay', because it comes from mêlée, and my French teacher would beat me if I said 'may-lay' in French class.

I'm fairly certain the word is pronounced May-lee. I haven't heard it any other way, but it isn't like words can be pronounced different ways. Schism is often pronounced as Skism or Shism. I say the latter.

I pronounce it Mee-Ledlsakfagsdfkjasdgabkdfha-asldjfahsdlfjk.
I am sad that was not on the options for voting.
