Does not bother me tbh, why should I care if someone is a virgin or not? Got a lot of respect for people who choose to be though.

See as a normal person. That said I do give me brother shit about it, but that's more light hearted and more of a come back when he makes a smart ass remark about the sheer amount of sex I have.( not really that much, but it's all done in the span of the three days I can actually see my gf) About the only thing that changed in losing my virginty is I can't make jokes about having it (lost it 6 months ago) and keep forgetting that.

I would judge them as I would anybody else; by whether or not they're friendly or if they're a total dick (no pun intended).

All virginity means is that you have never had sex. How does the act itself, perpetrated or no, make you more or less than a decent human being?

I don't think virginity is all that big a deal as people make it out to be. Everyponybody's* always going to be new at something, and it shouldn't be that grand of an event if that thing happens to be sex.

*Been watching ponies all night, sorry. ^_^

Virgin by choice or nerds? Theres a big difference between the two.
The former? Good for them but they don't know what they're missing.
The latter? I pity you. (and they still don't know what they're missing).
Referring to 'have you ever tried'?

Nope... granted I'd rather be a virgin than be with some of the disgusting excuses for 'alive' on this planet.
Yeah, I definitely agree with you there. Virgin is better than HIV positive.

The "saving myself until marriage" types all seem to be religiously motivated, and quite fervently at that. As such, I usually dislike them by default, although not on the basis of their virginity.
The other types, who are virgin for a myriad of reasons (age, social problems, just picky etc.) I have no problem with at all. Some of my beste (and coolest) friends are virgins, hell, I was a virgin until about 6 months ago. Losing it honestly did not change me very much.

Delicious, if you cook them right.
+3 internets, sir.

Well being one myself, at twenty even, I view them as either:

A) virgin by choice, personally I think it's unhealthy to suppress natural desires either for religion or in the search of that entirely fictional "one", but I ain't gonna mess with their lives.

B) in that around 15-18 age group in which it's still considered socially acceptable to still be a virgin in Britain, in which case, I suggest they hurry. If they don't do it before 18, they never will, as there are very few who would ever go for a relationship with a virgin after that.

C) like me, were just too damn ugly to do it before 18. In which case, they're possible allies. As that fish dude said in Hellboy, "us freaks have to stick together, he'll if we don't, the "normal", 90% psychotic towards abominations like me majority of society might just kill us all.

the Idea of the "virgin" is completley outdated anyway Virginity is not somthing special or "a gift" (note how those two Only really apply if your a woman....double standard)
Having been the "first" for two virgins, I vehemently disagree.
That's probably the wisest statement I've heard all day. Virgins are way better, at least when one's talking about females (I don't go with the guys so I wouldn't know about all of that). You sir know what you're talking about.

Sorry about the double post.

Girl virgins and boy virgins are seen differently.

Young virgins and older virgins are seen differently again.

And I'm not even going to touch the dark side of this.

Personally I think this was a silly forum question, possibly to start a debate or get that hot topic badge.

I think you failed to realize just how creepy mentioning this is in a topic about sex.

Especially point B is utter BS, you'll upset people for no reason if you say crap like that..there's nothing about being a virgin that makes you unapproachable for relationships in any way.

I was a virgin untill my 21st around two years ago my reason I'm extremely timid for one and another thing is I don't go for one night stands. Back on topic I'm really not bothered by virgins at all and it really shouldn't matter whatsoever what makes someone whose had sex any better than someone who hasn't?

They're people, that's all. They probably have their reasons, if it's not by choice and they're over 20 I'll usually giggle, but that's about it.

Also happy to read the whole front page and not hear the whole : I don't believe in sex/I'm Asexual/I'm Emotionalphilic kind of speal.

I'm a virgin, and for me if someone is not before the time they are around eighteen, that is when I make assumptions. There after, sure, Go crazy with it if you like, but I think a little patience never hurt, and I live in the Country that has the highest percent of the population infected with HIV. So yeah, a little patience, caution and, in this country, a blood test, are very much advisable before getting too naughty.

I'm a virgin, and don't judge anyone that is. I know people who have lost their virginity at the age of 12, which is pretty sick. I wanna lose mine, have been with my girlfriend 6 weeks, but it is WAY too soon. Someone I hang around with in college wouldn't have sex with her boyfriend until they'd been dating 2 months, which isn't that early in a relationship really, but she said he was dying to have it sooner, which is pretty weird. I talk about it, make jokes about it, but I'm not really dying for it. Will lose it when my girlfriend is ready.
