I took one of those tests, and we had two minutes to write a paragragh on some very confusing subjects and I scored 152 WPM on the first one and 156 WPM on the second... I'm pretty fast. :)
150's?! Please excuse my doubt at that somewhat impossible speed.

I'm getting about 80wpm when reading text on screen + retyping.

Not the quickest. I'm good for my class, though. My fingers keep hitting other keys, and it keeps slowing me down >.>

Somewhere between 40-80 WPM.

We had two minutes to write it. If I write about 76 WPM, then I'll get roughly around 152 WPTM... Also, about 20 of those words were "the, a, as, so, and" Pretty simple.

I know I would have 100+ GWAM on that stupid microtype program they would force us to use... I learned mah typing from Runescape! woo!
Oh man, that brought on some flashbacks. Still, it did help me improve my typing a good bit. Got me past the looking at the keyboard while you type thing.
I think it taught me the five-finger way of typing, as opposed to the three-finger way of typing I developed with Runescape. The fact that I had to take the class twice (Due to going to 2 different schools, not do to failing) I got to run straight through it with far too high a score ><
I'd probably go bonkers if I had to take the same class twice. At least you got something out of it!

Well that's not 152WPM then as it's not words per minute. :p

I have a side transcription job where I get paid based on output. Nothing motivates me to type quickly better than money, so I'm around 75 wpm.

I can type relatively quickly, though accuracy is often a problem.

The above took me 4.98 seconds to type.

My average is about 50-60wpm with 100% accuracy but I have been known to type faster depending on my caffeine level and how close the deadline for whatever I'm typing is.

I can touch type (added benefit from playing the piano)

However, I'm typing with one hand right now because I'm holding a towel (just had a shower). However, I can still type decently with just my left, although I often miss out letters because my left takes it for granted that the right will do them

I've never timed myself, but I'd say I'm quite quick depending on what I'm typing. I'm usually quite inaccurate when it comes to errors, so a bit of the time goes into correcting mistakes. I'd say its about average...

My guess is about 60-70 WPM. I could probably type faster, but if I do that, my grammar ends up almost non-existant.
