Depends how fast i want to type, on average i can type about 90 words a minute, but thats only if i can be bothered to type that fast and if i stop deleting every odd word because i keep forgetting or changing what the hell i was going to say.

Its all good though, i type faster than most :p

The last time I knew how fast I could type with when I was a freshman in high school, and I'm also 21. I was super slow then but I'm so much faster then I was and I cant watch TV and type just like I am now. I'd say about 50-60 WPM.

80+ wpm. My accuracy depends on the length of the sentence. If it were the length of that last sentence, it'd be 100% no problem, but if it were the length of this sentence then I'd probably start to stumble around here and start to type slower and have to go back and correct errors afterwards. I actually challenge myself to type as fast as possible every time (I don't know why), but I can type faster and more accurately than any of my friends who use home-row position, so nyahh to them.

I haven't timed myself in a long time but last time it was around 75 wpm and I was actually pleasantly surprised with the low amount of spelling errors.

(As I wrote that I actually had about...20 of them or so. How ironic)

Hm... when i too a class in school (some time ago) i got "145 clicks" a minute... don't know how many words that would average too. So yeah i was pretty slow, but steady. I would have to try now. But i think i got faster, but more "unfocused" (i do look at my hands when typing very often)... so NO idea

Out of curiosity I just took a test and I got 59 WPM transcribing something without any mistakes. Which I feel is rather poor, however they wanted all the correct punctuation which I did, but I know it slowed me down. A simple load of text without quotation marks and an over abundance of full stops and I could get quicker I believe.

I'm not sure. I've never timed myself typing before but looking at the clock, this post has taken me 17 seconds to type.
Does that include the part saying how long it took you to type that sentence? How does that work?
