Hiya escapists.

What the title says, basically.
How many girlfriends/boyfriends have you had?
One night stands don't count.

You're free to tell us any entertaining stories from your relationships while we're at it.
What about fuckbuddies?
They don't count.

Does that include short-term teenage relationships (as in a few weeks to a few months)?
If so then about 7-10.

If you're talking relationships that last longer than a year, then it's two (still involved in the second one).

Captcha: complex number

I suppose it is.

I've had one that lasted about 2 months, and another that was on and off quite a lot (3 times I think) but the last time we stayed together for about a year. So that's 2 in total. Been single since last July though. Might not be for much longer though, depends how things go =]

A few weeks might be a little short, but it all depends on what you yourself want to claim is a reasonably significant relationship.

Fuck you, I'm fabulous.
Been togeather with quite a few girls and had "secret" relationships with many more. No one has lasted that long though. I tend to break free after just a few weeks - so if we're counting serious relationships I'm down to one. Only really cared about one girl.

can't make my brain take the word relationship with anything but a grain of salt. Make it more realistic and say that I have dated hookers that knew my name and where I lived. it was pretty much like dating a hooker. Was me buying them food and and stuff in exchange for sex. me and the hookers got along if that makes you feel any better in calling them hookers. Always saw a girlfriend as being a thing you put money into in exchange for sexual favors. Saw horrible movies with them that I paid for, dinners that I bought, whats the difference? Horrible reality is that love is just a word we use to bash the guys that actually go to hookers because they just sex with no drama.
I like this man. Of course, not all women are like that, but the ones I've hooked up with have been. Made me contemplate getting a hooker for some regular work seriously.

0, unless you count internet relationships, of which I have had 2 or 3.

She saw me, got interested, we hooked up, she learned to know me, she dumped me...
Long story short.

None...

But I'm currently interested in a guy that seems to be interested in me. To quote a conversation with my brother:
"So he listens to you talk about anime?"
"Yeah."
"Does he watch it?"
"No."
"Yeah, he likes you. No guy's going to listen to a girl talk about things like that unless he likes her."

Technically, I've been in four relationships, 1 in middle school, 3 in high school, and so far, none in college. Ironically, the middle school relationship lasted the longest (about 15 months or so) while the high school relationships were 1 month, 2 months, and 8 months in that order. For the most part though, they were essentially platonic for me. I never was interested in being physically intimate with them, to the point my relationships have been described as a "G-rated couple."

Each relationship I've accepted were mostly the results of my difficulty with turning people down (I'm a bit of a people-pleaser, I guess). I personally ended every relationship I was in because I simply couldn't maintain interest.

Depending on how you define a relationship, you could argue that I've been in none at all, but that's been entirely due to a lack of strong physical (or long-term emotional) desire to be intimate with another human being. I've found that friendship and family can fulfill my basic social needs, and my passion as a musician has given me more happiness than any relationship ever has (or will).

I've been in six relationships myself, although the first four were meaningless as they were during my "Of course I'm straight! I just probably felt nothing for that last guy because he was an asshole and not because he's the wrong gender" phase before the "nope, definitely a lesbian" realization.

All of them have ended horribly and messily save for the second to last one, though. She and I had an amicable, mutual break-up.

So, two real relationships, I guess? I have a horrible track record. My last girlfriend heard voices and threatened to kill me in my sleep once. We were living together, so it was a valid threat.

None. I have never been in a relationship for reasons that are entirely my own fault. I decided that I wasn't going to get into one in high school, not that there were any females that were interested in me anyway, which is also my own fault, and now that I am in college I have yet to make any new friends since it is a community college and I continue to live at home. And I suck at purposefully making new friends and the like.

Guess how many relationships I've been in. Guess.

I'll give a hint: its the number representing the lack of something.

Oh man, I lucked out with my first one, five years and going strong. I love the man. I like him too.
Seriously, from the (incredibly romantic) first kiss in a garden at sunset, the (nerdiest possible) ninja-related declaration of crush, and the (OHMYFUCKINGGODAMAZING) first time on a bed of rose petals, I got the best luck ever. Seriously, BEST LUCK EVER.

And 9 years later, I'm still with that lovely girl :D

Yes. I'm a stud.

I don't mind you worshipping me.
Since you were 15 or 16 then?
[small]Only a brief profile stalk, to check that it wasn't since 11.[/small]

Nice to know, given that I started dating my girlfriend around 16, and am still going 2 and a half years later!
Late bloomers, unite!

If it's not too personal, did you both go to Uni, and if so how close by?
