I try to always be in the progress of reading a book, sometimes several. On a good day i can get through an entire book. depends on how long and involving it is. sometimes i start reading a book and end up zoning out and hating it.

I read... books. No genre. A favorite book? Mason and Dixon by Pynchon maybe, The Outsider, The Road, Truth by Peter Temple, The Baroque Cycle by Stephenson. For this forum, for this discussion I'll say The Baroque Cycle by Neal Stephenson, it is a lot like Mason and Dixon actually.

Depends. If I get into a book I like I normally wait until Friday and read through until its finished. Unfortunately if its not good enough that I can just keep on reading then I tend to find my time filling up and I read less and less every evening - since coming to Uni I've dropped books half way through for the first time ever.

I'm not very passionate about reading, and I already do enough of it for school.

Reading for work and on my off-time seems a bit over-kill to me.

I used to read a lot, now I don't. I really should start again. I really do like to read.

I read pretty often. I usually only read light novels though. It's just easier for me since I liked to take breaks from whatever I'm reading pretty often. Most of the time I just read for an hour or 2 before I go to bed.

I read my Bible once a day. Other than that I can't find another book I'm interested in.

I don't think I'm going to be running out soon, my parents have been hoarding books for years, there's thousands in my house.
You lucky sod. I've read every book in my house at least 3 times and don't have the money to by more than 1 or 2 books at a time.
Then join a library.

As for the poll, please qualify 'very much'. Presumably 'not much' is only one or two books a week, but context would be appreciated.

I read constantly, mostly history books, but am trying to finish the "Song of Ice and Fire" series by July. I have no life anyway.

I voted for "A lot", because that's true when i DO read. Hadn't read much for a couple of years, but this year i swallowed a book every week or two.

Im mostly into Fantasy and Sci-Fi. My family has a really good collection of non-fiction books, but i havent gotten into it yet, i guess its difficult to read about reality when ur used to reading in order to Escape reality.

I'll read a book every couple of months. Fantasy and sci-fi are my topics of choice and they don't even have to be good ones for me to enjoy them. I know I have a small stack of books somewhere in my apartment that I haven't read but I can't find them. Eh...perhaps a trip to the local bookstore might be in order.

I read a ton. I recently read the latest addition to the greatest series ever made. Changes by Jim Butcher. In case you didn't know, the series is The Dresden Files. Harry Dresden is the main character and he is so badass that I changed my avatar to a picture of him. If you like fantasy, give this series a try. It might seem wierd at first but it grows on you. In a good way.

Well, right now I'm reading Atlas Shrugged, The Zombie Survival Guide, and World War Z at the same time. I'd say I do a decent amount of reading.

I used to do alot, but between college forcing me to read stuff, gaming, and my own personal issues, I barely read anything for pleasure anymore. Sometimes I might have a half hour or so before I go to sleep, but that's sporadic and inconsistent. It's a shame, because I have alot of books in my room that I ought to finish.

Books, books, books! I don't leave the house without a book (provided I leave for a longer time).
I'm currently about to finish the last chapter of Watchmen and am not sure what will follow then. Either Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, or King Lear or maybe Alice in Wonderland & Through the looking-glass in a row, haven't done that before.
