Who would have thought that this thread would breath life back into the "its the end of the world as we know it" thread. Again this is solely the destruction of the planet, not just the end of humanity. So there is a little difference. A small one...

Crazy natural disaster. Then when everyone is trying just to survive a crazy Virus will kill everyone.
Either one will do the trick.
But sadly I think the most realistic is a giant Meteor. It happened once... It will happen again...

If they are both anti-matter then when they touch it will be the same as if matter touches regular matter.

It's almost certain the sun will devour it. A nuclear war or a giant meteor will never be enough to destroy earth itself. Humanity is another story.
