The nightmare has become a reality!

I remember my dreams at least once a week. My dreams are always some form of weird. They range from believably weird to downright insane. A lot of times, they take place at my grandparents' house. It's more of a recurring location then a recurring dream.

I remember a lot of my dreams, none of them are overly interesting though.
I'm trying to get back to lucid dreaming but failing horribly, I had it for a week or so.

My dreams are usually of waves and cliffs... or sex.

Yeah, I dream. All the time. And the dreams are usually over-the-top and crazy adventures that rarely make sense.
Random question from a fellow dreamer :0 Are you in your own dreams? If so are they usually first person, or third person? xD

Just wondering if my mind is weird or not :p
Yeah, now that I think about it, I'm almost always first person in my own dreams. Does that make me narcissistic?

This reminded me that I woke up and realised I wasn't in my dream recently, felt like watching a film, but for bits of it I was in it.
I'm usually in my dreams, but I can think of a few times when it has been a mixture of first and third person within the same dream, but I think it was a few dreams strung together.

Never had a lucid dream in third person though, I remember all of those very vividly.

I doubt it xD, I just find it weird that I'm hardly ever me in my dreams :p

Exactly, last night I wasn't in any of my dreams. Also the person who is usually in most of my dreams wasn't there either, they were all complete strangers D:

I was thinking about dreaming a week ago... and then I realized that the last dream I had was about 6 years ago. When I was 9.

I was puzzled, as I thought dreaming happens fairly often, but in my case the last dream I had was a night mare, and from then on no more dreams, so I decided for the next week (last saturday to now) I'd have a pad of paper next to my bed with a pen, and if I had a dream, or even a slight feeling that I may have had a dream I'd make a note. Week went by, and I never made that note. Confirming that I don't dream anymore.

Is this normal? Also, do you dream or are you like myself and seem not able to dream.

*Edit

Woa woa woa, did a mod edit my poll options ?!
That's creepy.

8Edit 2

OK OK fine, settle down Science enthusiasts. Allow me to rephrase, I have not recollected a dream in 6 years.

Better?
Don't worry, i've got you covered. I remember anywhere from 2-4 dreams a night. Completely independent dreams that only had the slightest of segways.

I dream.. All the time.. Even daydreams all the time.

A strange thing is, that my dreaming took at few years break, and returned only recently.

And none of the new ones are nightmares... And the ones that IS going towards to become a nightmare.. I quickly realise that its a dream and pushes the dream in another direction.. Or wake up :p

I often remember my dreams really clearly, though after a couple of days go by most of them become really difficult to recall.

It varies from time to time whether or not I remember my dreams, but right now I tend to remember.

Last night (from what I can remember), I was exploring a Desert and then having a conversation with my Dad about money. I think the desert bit might have something to do with the fact I'm reading "Dune" when I go to bed.

I haven't had a nightmare in a long time (Touchwood and spit)

Don't worry dude, Dreams are only kinda good. I mean I haven't had one to remember for over half a year it seems, but I know my eyes flick around when I sleep so I gotta be dreaming. About what...I dunno

I do dream quite a lot. Though usually my dreams tend to be entertaining (How does a dream sound that includes police escape with Finnish prime minister to kindergarten that has softwalls?) or a bit freakish (getting eaten by zombies, aliens crawling under the skin of mine or ugly celebrities trying to make me famous while I facestomp them). Sometimes it's all just deja vu aka I dream a thing and it fulfills one day way or another. Though one time I managed to prevent it from happening and that way stopped martians from taking over the world.

Most people don't remember their dreams so it's not a big deal. Only thing you miss is the humour value and laughs that you get when you tell about your dreams to your buddies.

I like to call them slumber visions. Because they usually depict my problems and sometimes soothe me and other times they terrify me.

I always dream, like everyone else does. I just rarely remember them.

Hey, did you know that apparently some people can only dream in black and white? Bizarre.

I rarely ever have dreams that I cal recall. However, when I do dream it is usually a very violent or disturbing affair.

Note: Probably 1 in 5 dreams I do have are "Vivid Dreams." So I tend to have some degree of control in the rational that this is indeed a dream.
