So I'm finally gonna get a PS3. However I don't know which game I should get first. Tomb Raider Underworld, or Little Big Planet? I know I'll like both of them, but which one is more worth the coin I'm going to shell out?
There is a LBP demo on the PSN; I believe there are plans to release the TR demo this (or next) week.

Why don't you just buy the PS3 first, set it up, log into the PSN, download the demos (there are other demos as well - there might be other games that suit your tastes) and try them out yourself? :)

Speaking of the PSN, there are a number of games available for download that are well worth the price of admission.

LittleBigPlanet. Personally, it's my favorite game to date.
Excellent replay value. It's nearly impossible to get sick of LBP.

No there isn't. I've looked.

Just because you've obsessed with me doesn't mean you need to throw my name around willy nilly. ;<

I don't even HAVE a PS3 and I'm telling you to get LBP... TR:U is mediocre from what I hear, and LBP has more replay value than you can shake a prosthetic limb at, or how ever the expression goes...

I wish. That game is Bad-ASS.
For your second game, I'd recommend Mirror's Edge or Warhawk. Both are quite excellent in graphics and gameplay.

LBP seems like more fun, but one of my friend's dad worked on Tomb Raider, so I'm kinda on the fence.

Get both then, though LBP is the better title. And while you're at it, pick up BioShock, Metal Gear Solid 4, Orange Box, Fallout 3, and download Castlevania: Symphony of the Night from the PSN.

Since I'm pretty sure you mean me....

Relax. I though that it was pretty obvious I was joking.

That isn't an option. Maybe we should add a button. We could put it on your fansite.

Seriously, Why be hater?

I would say it depends how creative you like to be. I own LBP and found the 1 player pretty short. I think longevity will come from designing and sharing levels.

I too am up for Tomb Raider and will be buying after it's first price drop.

Bioshock= will do

MGS4= no... I haven't played the other games, and it sounds like you need the Back Story for this game.

Orange Box= they have it for the PS3? SWEEET

Castlevania= I love the series..

Why only these two games?
I presume you have a PS3, right? There's plenty of games you could buy that are better than these.
That said, Little Big Planet is incredible, and if you're limiting your choice to these two games, go for that.

NO! DANGER! DANGER, WILL ROBINSON!

Do *not* buy the Orange Box for a console. Especially not the PS3, which was badly ported. Every semi-modern PC should be able to handle the Source Engine. Get it there, it's cheaper, the add-ons are free, the aiming is better, and with Steam you don't even have to go to the store.

The Product that they released for the PS3 was badly copied, it doesn't deserve to be called "Orange Box".

EDIT: And on-topic, shame on whomever said Tomb Raider.

I would hit your ps3 with a strong dose of Call Of Duty 5. I has got a good review from Gamespot of 8.5 and has some pretty safe game play. Alternatively you could go for COD 4 which is arguably slightly better and slightly cheaper.

Wonderful.

Agreed, The Orange Box was, and is, terrible on consoles.

Yes, but this guy clearly is looking for something better than your average FPS, with suggestions like LBP, and Tomb Raider.
Like I said, Little Big Planet if you're limiting yourself, but shop around a bit, use Gamespot and IGN, there's tons of good games out there.

That's what Wikipedia's for...

The PC version is better, but not everyone wants to game on PCs.

True, but this is a special case. None of the console ports for the Orange Box were good, but the PS3 was noticeably worse than all of the other ones. There are good shooters for the PS3, but the Orange Box just isn't one of them. If you don't like the PC gaming world, Valve titles really just aren't for you, sadly.
