Hetero.

That said, I believe that everyone is slightly bisexual in regards to sexual pleasure, aside from truly traumatized people, because "pleasure feels good, no matter who provides it." Regarding emotional pleasure, though, that's a bit more complicated, and I can honestly say that I don't have any emotional attachment in that respect towards another dude.

Well, I'd say I'm bisexual.

Of course, in this chaotic world things aren't always as clear-cut as gay/bi/straight, so I actually lean more to the gay side of things. Based on the Kinsey Scale I'd say that I'm a 4.

How many people here on The Escapist are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender? Yes, this may sound like a personal question, and you don't have to answer if you don't want to. I'm just curious! Personally, I'm bisexual, what are you?
it would be better to use the kenzie scale [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinsey_scale]. I fall at 0, but I my friends fall all through out the range of 0 thru 6, and even some X's.

What is the deal about people's orientation anyway? because I don't see why it matters.

"Gay" and "straight" doesn't exist as it is portayed in the media. I wish I could find it, but there is a famous report running in America once a year for 50 years now. I don't know if it is still running. But consistently it has shown the same thing.

You have 10% of people who are 100% straight
You have a slighter large percentage of people who are mostly straight but with some homosexual fantasies.
You have another percentage of people who are slightly straight and with mostly homosexual fantasies.

Then you have bisexual people in the middle.

And the opposite for the homosexual end of the scale.

It amazed me to find this out. Viewing sexuality was never the same for me once I found out about this report.
This often doesn't matter because in society, you choose to identify as "gay" or "straight". Often, to claim oneself to be bisexual is not viable as most partners will be appalled by the thought of their partner being with certain sexes (straight women won't want their boyfriend thinking about other men, for example). I'm not saying it's right, it's just the way it usually is. It's also easier to tell someone "I'm gay" than "I mostly like other men but on extremely rare occasions have slight fantasies about women.

OT: I'm gay.

i'm technically bi, but in a relationship with another male(only person i've ever been with and don't foresee it ending anytime soon, if ever), so i put homosexual just for simplicity.

How the hell is transgender a sexual orientation?

I mean, unless you're only referring to people who strictly like transgenders that is.

I'm a Bisexual guy with a strong male slant (which is why I thought I was just gay for quite a while)
Huh, what is that like 5 times I've mentioned that on these forums today?

I've been a heterosexual my entire life. When I was in college, I had a fling with a Canadian girl, though... I don't know what to think anymore.

Dammit, I'm Canadian AND Heterosexual! Not a joke, actually Canadian.

I'm trying to imagine how being Canadian would work as a sexual orientation. Unusually Polite?

100% Canadian through and through, and proud of it.

Oh i guess i could mention I'm hetero too, and I can truthfully say I have never judged anyone on their sexual orientation. (I only judge based on whether Canadian or not)

I'm an Other. Normally I'm asexual but there is one person I know who actually manages to get my heart pounding so I'd call it Single Target Sexuality but for simplicity's sake, Heterosexual

Hmm, there seems to be something about Canadians.. Maybe I should visit the country after all.

On a more serious note:
I'm Heterosexual. I don't know if you actually can expand that statement but..
I have however been known to fall in love (or something like that) with men, never felt any sort of sexual arousal towards a male though, so it doesn't really add anything to the discussion.. Or am I wrong in that presumption?

Oh, I have actually had a chance encounter with another guy one night!
Not that I remember anything of it, I mean, he told me what had happened but I don't have any memories of it at all.. No wonder seeing as how I wasn't conscious for the most of it..

*sigh* you better be Canadian...
Whoa you mean that you have to be Canadian to vote Canadian?

My fault I thought it meant you were attracted to Canadians. I never seen a Canadian girl sho wasn't hot. Is it something in the water or is it like the Japanese thing, hot till 35 then nosedive.

So you're asking sexual orientation on the poll, then including a non-orientation answer (Not counting the obvious joke one).

It's nice to be included, but the problem is transfolk also have sexual identities. I'm bisexuals and trans. Where do we vote, plz?
Yhea the poll was invalid when he put down "Canadian"...

You are also transgendered? Can I ask witch kind?

That may have been phrased badly, I mean are you biologically male or female? I guess.
